Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?

I mean seriously, you guys.

Seriously :P.

PS - Actual Turtle content: as a kid, I had a pet turtle. His name was Speedy. I got him because I had fallen in love with the book Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, by the great Judy Blume.

I was in second grade. It was a couple years before the TMNT came to be. But it DID set a pattern that much of my life has followed. Cowabunga! :)

It's a second hand emotion!

My parents wouldn't let me get a turtle as a kid. My mom had one growing up and it died and decomposed pretty horribly, so they were right out when it came time for me to be old enough for a pet.

But yeah, me too on the love of turtles getting me into Turtles, and not the other way 'round.

What's Love Good For?
Not sure what it's good for once it's completed, but it sure is fun to make!I don't get the point of the thread?.
We've had a recent rash of threads tossed about, titled "What's [fill in the blank] good for?" The first was an actual OT ep title with Michelangelo being the affore-mentioned blank. Tupperware just noticed the trend and thought to poke fun at it... or maybe he's just trying to confuse. Either way, I'm going with the 'being silly'.

I must say that the majority of Will Tupper's threads make me laugh (out loud).

You guys are too kind. Especially discordiatookie (thank you), and especially, especially ToTheNines (thank you, thank you).

A compliment like that will keep me going for a week :).

Actual turtle content: my older sister and my nephew (her son) are in town visiting. Tonight we beat Super Mario Bros on the Wii together, and a couple of summers ago, we went for a walk around the pond closest to the house, and we totally saw a turtle sunning itself on a rock! :D

Tupperware .

Nickname thief.

Who woulda thought the guy who wrote those touching/deep shorts in Tales would be such a random loon? lol

That was my thought exactly when I first started seeing the bizarre things he's posted. But then, I find it hard to go through my day without seeing some of his randomness. It's kind of refreshing, honestly.

can you get second-hand love infection?:ohwell:

Turtle content, I sez, Turtle content: I miss my turtles, Macguyver, Laura and Harriette. They have been at my father's farm while I study. My mother didn't want to care for them.

I had two turtles, Leonardo and Raphael. Apparently one was hissing(?) or angry or something (Raph?) though so my mother took them back to the store and told me that they were at Marine Land.

For those not familiar, it's an amusement park / marine zoo kind of thing in Niagara Falls.
