Zach the fith turtle!

I Have always been a fan of zach the firth turtle since I saw the episode the fith turtle! ...mainly because he reminded me of myself when I was 10 lol :lol: but anyway I used a ben 10 figure to do this and used plasticine for the hair and give him sleeves and just repainted the clothes and im quite happy how it come out!....the dustbin lid on his back came from a dolls house dustbin!(or trashcan lid as our friends in the states might call them) I just have to give him a belt and im pretty much done! ....I was gonna paint the combat trousers white but I think i'll leave them the original colour as in future episodes they are green!

the ben 10 figure was the perfect height for the other turtle figures........I was gonna use fred from scooby doo but It just would'nt work

Hey not to bad at all! The only thing I'd have changed myself would have been the top part of the hair.

Really cool & creative dude! I've never seen a zach custom before so thats especially neat to come across. Good job! Hopefully we'll see some more customs from you...

Good choice for a base figure, but I have to agree with Vaughn about the hair. I think it would have looked better if you had just painted the existing hair blond, rather than trying to add to it. For more realism, I'd recommend trying to add folds/wrinkles to clothing when you sculpt it as well--look at some photos in a catalog, or even yourself in a mirror, to get an idea/feel for where to place them. That said, overall, I think you did a good job on him.

Yes I did think of just painting the hair but I wanted to give him a realy thick mullet of hair just like the cartoon!

But its cool it,ll do me for now! i can always improve on it!

That Zach looks great, Robatello! I've got that same Ben10 figure and have been using it whenever I need a random kid for toy comics, but now that Percy Jackson's beginning to fill that role I might have to follow your example and make a Zach out of him. :)

Thanks wes, Yes its realy good base figure for zach! its just a bit smaller then the turtles so it fits in well! ....A dolls house dustbin will work well for a "turtle shell" as well!

Let us know how you get on making it! it will be great to see some other zach customs! :tgrin:
