How many people have the wind waker game for Nintendo GameCube?
I got the game on the day it was released. And I love that cell shaded graphics.

METROID!! That's the greatest game released... scince Super Metroid...

I dont have the game or even a gamecube but i gotta say im a big fan of cell shading :P
I also found it kinda neat that if you preorder it you get a 2-in-1 zelda game for game cube, its the same zelda ocarina of time that was released in n64 but for gamecube, plus it comes with another version of the game in the same cd, a director cut-ish one :P meaning the game got some stuff that didnt make it into the n64 one and such.

I've read that the pre-orders of Wind Waker beat the pre-order-sells of GTA Vice City. I think that's quite cool.

doesnt gta vice city use some cell shading too?I've always wondered about that..

Tingle is quite handy with 10 ruby bomb delievries. My favorite group would be the Pirates.

WIND WAKER HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST CURRENT GAMES ON THE GAMECUBE. I was looking forward to this moment for the longest time, but Four Swords kinda eased that anticipation anxiety.

It's strange that the main object of the game isn't an ocarina this time... it's a wand!!! :o

All I can say is that this is one of the best games I have played in years. BRAVO SHIGGGY! Another classic in the great Zelda series! :)

You hold the C controler at a certain dection when you here a note than you try to play the song but its not that hard.

I thought it was tough the first time I used it as well. It's easy after you use it two or three times though.

Besides the fact that it brings Super Metroid into 3D.... :D

Jeez, I can't get enough of the intro! (I love the story and music and the way the art looks like it's out of a book! (The intro of course.))

Shiggy? LOL That's a great nickname. I wonder if anybody really calls him that. Like when he was a baby and his parents would, of course in Japanese, squeeze his cheeks and go "cootchie cootchie coo shiggy poo!"

The thing that I love about great games is when before people even start playing it, just like Wind Waker, they just see what the game looks like and pre-judge and say it sucks, he looks like a kid, it's for kids to play not adults, etc. etc... But then when they actually play it they feel really really really stupid for saying such remarks that are so unjustified to start with. FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE LIKE THAT OUT THERE, I LAUGH IN YOUR FACES!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

By the way, I have the game too. I've only played it up until when Aryll gets kidnapped though. Too many other games that I'm also trying to divide my time up with. It gets too hard to decide what to play... :dead:

Just on the 'Cube? Try one of the best games to date ;). And yes, 4 Swords was cool. It was odd having to help... but not help o_O.

I love this new Zelda game... completly covered all my expectations. I liked the Cel-Shading used, but it looks so much better than I thought it would. And it helps the game out... creative way to show the wind ;).

The final boss battle is also kind hard if you can't get the timing right (took me 3 tries before I beat it.)

Like every other Zelda game (yes, even "Adventure of Link"), once I start playing I can't stop for hours and hours and hours. It's just too damn fun. I admit, I was disappointed at first at the change in graphics when it was announced last year, but I'm usually a "I'll give it a chance first" kinda guy, so I looked forward to trying it for myself. I wasn't disappointed, to say the least. The graphics are so much smoother than any other Zelda game.

I'm not too far into the game, I just beat the first dungeon, but I get so caught up in trying to do all the side quests and looking for secrets that I almost forget the main story. I love how every Zelda game takes things from all the previous games and changes them to make it "the same, yet different". Like the hookshot being replaced with the grappling hook. Neat twist, requiring a little altering of strategy.

I'm juggling between Zelda and Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth, so I cant say the game is getting my 100% attention, but I'm definitely impressed. I've never played a bad Zelda game, this is no exception.

I heard that there was a non-nintendo Zelda games that were made by the Phillips co. and it had no connection to the Nintendo's Storylines. Has anyone heard of them? I heard the animation on it is real cheesy.

Yes, and I have them. They sucked major donkey poo. Actually, they sucked worse than major donkey poo. Voice acting was horrible, along with animation. One of these days I'm going to capture some footage from those games and put them up on my website. Oh, and if any of you have cable tv, there is an episode of Icons on G4 that's all about Zelda. It next airs at 1530PST on the 5th and then the 17th at 1400. They have footage of the Philips CD-i games.

Hey, for those who have never seen or heard of these games, if Nintendo doesn't like to talk about them, basically denying the games' existence, then they MUST be horrible.

Indeed they are VERY horrible. Anyways I just finished the game. It's amazing. The final battle imo is the BEST final confrontation EVER in ANY game. Absolutley amazing.

I first heard of them on a G4TV Channel, If you don't have basic cable, it's a channel for Gamers. I seen it but never played it. The animation looks worst than the 1989 Legend of Zelda Series. The Link in those three are like the one in the cartoon. I think the Link in the 100% Nintendo Games is alot serious than the other.

Peanut
04-05-2003, 04:36 PM
There isn't one Link there is about 4 to 5 Link's. So that could explain it. I wish I got that channel but it's extra pay here in Canada I'm pretty sure.

Some markets are lucky enough to have G4 on their basic cable lineup. I think these are the markets that are owned by ComCast (or TimeWarner, don't remember which), which owns G4. Everywhere else...Adelphia, Cox, it's only available on digital lineups...

There's some pretty weird stuff to do with this game. What does everyone think about the Rito/Zora thing? Are the Rito actual evolved from the Zora's? I've been thinking about this for awhile now.
