I found an old NES at a flea market for $10. It had all the cords but no controllers. I powered it on with Mario 3 that came with it, and it worked first time. It looked like something was spilled all over it.

I always wanted to take a shot at customizing a system, but could never afford to mess something up. I took it all apart, and sanded it with a low grit. I wanted it to have a texture. taped off certain parts and the green went on...

Lets put on another coat of green and add some yellow...

Thats better. With all these drying times I read how to replace the red power led. I am putting in a green one as soon as it gets here.
