TMNT Storybooks?

I was going through some old crap at my mom's place, and stumbled upon these little gems in one of my boxes.

Also, sorry for the crappy image quality, all I've got is a crummy webcam thingie.

That one more or less seems to be a story I recall seeing in the old toon, the fake Ninja Turtle Gang that Shredder makes and Stockman going after Splinter.

This one, I don't recall at all but I think I read something about a similar story in the comics? It's basically Donatello meeting a guy with a magic crystal, and everything he draws comes to life.

This next one however gives me the most questions. I don't recall (though I could easily be proved wrong) ANYTHING like this in the old toon.

The story is basically the Turtles in space somewhere, fighting for control of a reality-bending device called the Turnstone.

The story is told from Leatherhead's point of view though, and I don't recall him ever being good in the toon, much less being human first or looking like this.

Or Raphael being colored all black for that matter.

Krang aligns with this weird alien queen Maligna, and gets some of her fighters to help him.

Alongside the Turtles are Leatherhead, Trap, Wingnut, and some other guy who's name escapes me - and again, never saw these guys before.

The fight ensues until Leatherhead uses the Turnstone to summon 'his creator', Hecubae. Wha? Anyway, with it she hands down punishment to the bad guys.

To get home, the Turtles have to be licked by...this...giant cow head...thing.

Any help understanding where some of these stories came from would be great help. My best guesses, given they're old-toon-esque, is the Archie comics?

In that case...anyone care to explain the black Raphael and the weird Cudley the Cowlick thing to me? I know TMNT has some weirdness inherent in it anyway, but...a giant cow head that's licks can send you across space-time? Bwah?

Same. I have them all except for the turnstone and crystal ones. The art is pretty neat in them, I always loved those books.
