Ok, so today there was this stupid ass commercial on while my brother was watching television. I mean it was unbelievably annoying, I couldn't bear to listen to it. I asked him politely to "Turn the damn channel before I slit my throat, please". And he replied with:
"No"
So remaining true to my word I took a knife and I got a handful of ketchup and I walked into the living room and gave him one more chance.
"I bet you won't do it", he says. What a sucker. I took the blunt end of the blade and slit my throat, then grabbed my neck with the ketchup hand and started gasping.
"You didn't really cut yourself! I don't believe you", he says. So to prove that I was in fact dying, I removed my hand and showed him all the blood (ketchup) that was coming from my throat. Well, of course he screamed like a school girl and ran away; leaving me to laugh my ass off while he hid in the closet for a few hours. Man, am I clever or what?

Anyone else have any good April Fool's ideas or stories?

Dude, that was cruel. Funny, but cruel. Actually, speaking as someone who's had their throat sliced open (surgically), not even that funny.

I've outgrown pranks, though I have to say this, I'm glad I'm not at work. a coworker yesterday told me Matt Damon was on the phone for me. Uh huh. Didn't fall for it. Hate to think what he'd do on actual April Fools.

I did something funny for April Fool's. At the Wendy's where I work, we get payed every two weeks, so we don't get payed until next Monday. Feeling kinda silly, I asked someone at work if she got her check yesterday. Sure enough she fell for it and asked the manager. She got back at me later though when she told me I had a customer.

That is a really cruel joke, but it has its humour I guess, poor kid is probably traumatized though! :P

A friend of mine told me they ere canceling the new Ninja Turtles show, and being paranoid of a lack of a second season I belived him

Cruel? How was that cruel? That was damn funny! It's not like I beat a cat to death or hit an old lady with a car (Note to self: Old Mrs. MacAllister has been looking awful smug lately). I merely played a joke on my brother. Can I say anything at all here that wont cause people to freak out on me? Yeesh.

I do like the saran wrap though....I never would have though of that. Needless to say I've already thought of how to smuggle some into school. Hehehehehehe.

I pulled the saran wrap gag a few times, along with its cousin, the "put open ketchup packets under the seat so when they sit down, then get up and look inside, they think they're bleeding" routine.

I also was pretty fond of switching all the sugar in the house with salt. In a house full of heavy coffee drinkers, that's practically courting death.

I hadn't gotten into the pranks as much now like I was when I was in highschool. But the biggest one my Mom always fell for was "Mom, I missed the bus!" ..when I didn't really.

Another one I like... putting petroleum jelly under a door handle (like on a car door, or a kitchen cabinet). :P
