Ok guys it is how it sounds. I am interested in what people like most about them. Just list 2k3 or OT or even comics.
My favorite episode is in the 2k3 Shredder Strikes back Parts 1&2. I like these episodes bc the turtles are pushed to their limits. It shows their true characters/powers and to top it off with impressive animation. It is jst an epic battle.

I, like many others, love "Same as it never was" to death. Thats deffiantely up there on the list... The super turtles episode was awsome too. All the eps featuring Usagi (esp. "The Real World pt.1") were awsome 'as shell' & the same goes for the ones based on issues of tales.

I got so many favorites from 2k3, I really need to get off my ass and rewatch first 5 seasons (watched FF already this week) and gather them into a list. I keep getting asked this question personally and find myself wanting to respond to threads like this. Alas.
I'll work on this and return to this thread at a later date.
Comics wise, but mostly the actual plot stuff from Vol 1. And as most know by now. Anything Tristan Jones worked on. :) I'm also fond of the later Archie issues, mostly the ones with Ninjara and Mezcaal.
As for OT... probably the 2 part Planet of the Turtleoids arc with Kerma. I fondly remember this one for some reason even if it's not on the DVD's (from what I understand)

My favorite 2K3 episodes are "Meet Casey Jones", "Same as it never was" and "The real world" featuring Usagi. It's was awesome to see Usagi's world come to life on the screen.
My favorite comics are the Chris Allan Archie comics, more specifically the "Future Shark trilogy".

I have WAY too many favorites from Season 1-4.
But I love "Same as it never was"-I just love it, plain simple as that, wish there was more then one episode on this.
"Return to New York"-I love how they're pushed to their limits in stealth in this one and how the shredder picks up his head before we found out he was a utrom.
"The Darkness Within",-I like the idea of looking into the Turtles worth fears.
"Exodus prt 1&2"-I love the whole idea, and how close the turtles were to death, so epic.

I haven't seen the OT in ages so I can't pick that one. I haven't seen much of 2K3 in the long run either sadly, just read about a lot of it so far, so I'll have to go with a cliche answer of 'Same As It Never Was'.
Oh! Another favorite would be 'Insane in the Membrane'.

Pretty much every single Utrom Shredder battle arc episodes were great!
-The Shredder Strikes (great introduction to the Shredder and his sheer power!)
-The Shredder Strikes Back (Part I was amazing with Leo's struggle against the Elite.)
-Return to New York (Especially enjoyed Leo cutting on Shredder's head)
-Secret Origins (Best part: Turtles and Splinter fighting Shredder with Ch'rell's emergence)
-Rogue in the House (weakest of the arcs, IMO)
-Exodus (Part I was more enjoyable. Loved Saki/Utrom suit getting beat down!)
Outside of the Ch'rell/Foot/Karai episodes, some of my favorite include any episode with Bishop, or the Fugitoid, and especially all the ones with Usagi. I felt they should of done more episodes with him. Season 5 was a major letdown compared to how great Season 4 was. Favorite episode of them all? Shredder Strikes Back Part II.

I love the "Ninja Tribunal" storyarc. I don't get why everyone hates on it so much. I've been watching that season on DVD & it just straight-up f*cking rules, to me. The dragon avatars & stuff, awsome. Alot of the episodes from that season are favorites of mine, I guess.

"The Shredder Strikes Back Part II" - One of, if not the most gorgeous fight scenes in the serious. The animation is top notch.
"Turtles In Space" - I love this entire arc. It could have been maybe an episode shorter, but it was a great adaptation of the comics, the animation was at a consistently amazing level, the storyline was very adult, and the moments of humor actually made me laugh.
"I, Monster" - Just overall well done.
"Hun on the Run" - Dat fight scene. Holy god, is that fight scene awesome.
"Dragons Rising" - Always good to have a status quo-changing, "The heroes don't get to win anymore" episode. This one is fairly entertaining to boot.
"The Milk Run" - Even without the great fight scene in the middle, this episode was only one Mikey-ending-joke away from feeling like it would fit in with the Mirage comics.
"DNA Is Thicker Than Water" - Possibly the best episode of the series. This one actually does feel like the comic series, if only slightly cornier.

Hey I have a question why in "The same as it never was" was the shredder so old? He has been on earth for hundreds of years and in the present doesn't look that old. Then like 40 years in the future he is all winkled up sack of crap. Why is that?

I think Same as it Never Was is really overrated.I really, really agree.
People mistake melodrama for quality. The series is never deep or emotional; it doesn't do itself any favors by trying to pretend it is. The art and animation in that episode are fantastic though.

It's hard to pick my favorite moment from the series. I really enjoyed Leo's first encounter with the Elite, Leo slicing off Shredder's head, Karai's first appearance, Bishop's first fight with the Turtles, and pretty much every single time Usagi appeared in the series. Such memories. :)

Who knows how old Ch'rell really was. Utroms live for centuries, if not thousands of years. Just another thing never fully explained in the series.

Almost evey episode is great so its hard to pick any favorites but these are most memorable in no particular order.
Return to the New York Part 3
Very epic episode, fight against Shedder is the best fight against Shedder in the series. Would have been great last episode.
Tales of Master Yoshi
I like episode dedicadet to Yoshi and we get to see some human ninja action.
Trouble With Triceratons
Lots of funny scenes and the chase scene is the greatest.
Hun on the Run
Awesome fight scene and this episode made me like Hun, previously I just thought of him as another mook who gets lines.
H.A.T.E
Funny episode. Every scene with HATE-members is funny.
Dragons Rising
I like Casey very much and this is great way to end his vendetta with Hun. Plus it has two coolest places to fight: in a airplane and on the moving trucks.
Race for Glory
Like I said, I like action with moving vehicles.
Hacking Stockman
Best episode from BTTS season, at first I didn't like this season much but later I have softened for it. It could be a lot better but it is still good and hey we had worse choices like TMNT with TMNT jr.
Shedders Scion
Awesome actionpacked episode.
Search for Splinter Part 1
Very funny episode, also first time viewing it was really interesting mystery episode.
I would hav to say the fourth episode in the first season. (Sorry. Can't remember the title.) It really shows Raph being a bad boy IMO.

I have not had the joy of seeing any of the 2k3 episodes due to the fact I am just now starting to get back into TMNT all together. But I really look forward to sitting down and watching the 2k3 episodes!:tgrin: As far as comics go no doubt always will be the original 1st Mirage comic!

Insane in the Membrane. I remember seeing this in TV and me going WTF is this Nightmare Fuel Unleaded doing in my screen?
I forgot the name of the episode... but its where the Turtles and Renet went back in time and sort of caused the extinction of the dinosaurs by summoning Meteor. It was very meta.

And I'm going to try one last time to explain this. My point is that the post above saying that it CANNOT be overrated if a lot of people like it makes no sense. When something is overrated it means that too many people like it, or rate it higher than it deserves. Not saying this is the case with this episode, just that that comment doesn't really prove anything.
Consider if it was the best episode of the series, but only a 9/10, yet people say that it is the greatest episode to ever air of any show. This would be overrated. 9/10 is an excellent score, but it's not necessarily the greatest thing ever.
Also consider The Dark Knight. I loved it, but will admit that when it was released it was overrated. On IMDB it had a rating of 10/10 for quite a while, therefore making it the highest rated movie on the site. Great movie, but didn't deserve a perfect score. This is an example of something that is good and the favourite of a lot of people, but was severely overrated for a time.
I'm not really arguing with you, just trying to explain what my comment meant since you didn't really understand it. I actually agree that it's a great episode, definitely in the top tier.
Anyway, if you still don't get it then fine, I've already given an example that backs up my point and can't do a lot better than that.
P.S. I really should have considered adding some sort of smiley to the Next Mutation comment...

Interestingly enough, your list of favourites doesn't include SAINW, so you might be of the opinion that it's overrated. You acknowledge that it's a good episode, but not the best in the series. Your list suggests that it's good, but not THAT good. Just a thought :P
