SavantiRomero

I copied this snipped introduction from my thread in the Fan works forum.
First off I want to say hi. Some of you may know me already, but I've been out of touch for almost 3 years. I frequented #tmnt on Dalnet from 96-2000, been to San Diego Comic con in 98 and 2002. I was at the closing of the Words and Pictures Museum in I believe it was 99. And I was up until my deployment to the balkans, a lurker on the TMNT-L Mailing list.
I go by the handle/nick/alias Savanti Romero.
My real name is Chris King. I work in the national guard, right now I'm deployed in Bosnia for Peace Keeping mission. I'm missing the the TMNT show on fox... not happy about that.
I like computers, programming, web, games, Everquest and much much more. I've studied Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do for almost 15 years and I love eating.
As for Everquest, if any of you play, I play on the Morell-Thule server. I 5 box (play 5 characters at once) My 65 Iksar Monk Ssvanti, 60 Dwarf Cleric Chrisgink, 58 Iksar Shaman Savantis, 50 Halfling Druid Reppem, 50 Vah Shir Bard Mhalignant. All are guilded with Altruistic Valorians. I however cannot play while deployed :(. Everquest is also the reason for my 3 year departure from the active TMNT scene. I still browse all the sites, and watch all the news. I even still lurk on the mailing list (which I can't read while I'm deployed).
What I enjoy the most about the TMNT is the art. I enjoy good storylines and plots second most. But above all I'm attracted to the physical depiction and how artists portray them. As such I keep copies of ALL TMNT related art I find. I do not normally edit this art, I merely archive it for keeps sakes. Sites come and go, and many times we lose the precious visual effects that were posted on them.
I also want to point out that I used to run the Savanti Romero's TMNT Archive. The site is safely stored on 4 hard drives and CD backup. I intend to pull the site out and rework it. My technical skills have improved over the years and I have learned much much more code.
TMNT is what got me started into computers in the first place, anyway :)
I also wish to point out that I also ran an Erotic TMNT site for some time. Why? Becuase I was interested, and still am interested in that sort of theme. The site hosted images and fics regarding this medium. That site also is safely stored away to come back out later.
What will I do differently with the site? I'll password it for one. I'll require age verification. There won't be a fee, but you will have to verify your age.
Why would I bring a site like that back out? Becuase beleive it or not, I'm not the only freak out there. Many good artists and friends had contributed, or had agreed to contribute work for the site.
What will I do with the site? Well it's going to be free, no charge at all, and it will contain donated works. It will be there for the curious and the .... slightly mentally unstable, like myself. It will however be much more tasteful than it was when it premeired. There will standards.
And why am I putting this in my hello thread? Becuase it's part of who I am, I'm ok with it, and I hope you can be ok with it too. I don't keep secrets. I also do my utmost to always tell the truth.
Do I realize the bigwigs might not like it? Yup. That's one reason for age verification. So they can't say something about kiddies getting in. :) I'll post details to those who wish to know more later, I have another 5 or 6 months before I can start working on the sites again.
But now you all know a little more about me :)
Let the fun begin. Again :)
