View Full Version : If you could only watch a few TV episodes, what series would they be from?

I have 3 kids, ages 8 and 10, and they are chomping at the bit to watch some Turtles show. I don't want to break the bank with buying a billion DVDs so I am being cheap and showing them episodes via YouTube. I was wondering what series and episodes are your favorites and worth showing!!

Just start at the beginning of the 80's cartoon and go from there.

The show still holds up well and it was made for kids of that age.

I would have to say the first 5 episodes of the original series (season 1). If the rest of the original series had maintained the same level of humor and action from those first 5 episodes, it would have been amazing. After those episodes, the show remained entertaining, especially for kids, but the humor wasn't as sharp and the action was watered down considerably.

I would also recommend the first 5 episodes of the 2003 series. Some really good stand alone eps there.

I agree, it's funny, and it was a great introduction for me as a kid as far as the turtles' personalities.

Show season 1 and season 2. Another time, you can show them from later seasons.
