And here I was expecting them to keep 4Kids TMNT strictly on Nicktoons.
Hopefully it's the full cut in a 2 hour slot (yeah, I can't say I'm counting on that though).
And hopefully this will lead to them airing 4Kids TMNT on Nick proper and not just Nicktoons.
At any rate the TMNT make their Nickeoldeon debut Sunday August 29th at 1PM.

Cool news. I'm not sure if this would help or hurt DVD sales.

Hopefully letting more people know what Turtles Forever actually is will boost DVD sales. I doubt they're going to play the movie nearly as many times as they play most movies so the TV airing wont cheapen the value of the DVD (which as we all agree is an incredibly cheap value as it is, at least to hardcore fans).
I'm not sure if this would help or hurt DVD sales.
CN does the same with Scooby-Doo DTVs, so it's not unprecedented. It would hurt sales if they have it on their network too often, but otherwise boost sales by letting people 'try before you buy'.

Even though I've got an 'internet' copy, and will be getting the DVD, I'm still going to watch this just to give it the viewership. Besides, haven't watched it in a while and it's far overdue for another re-watch!

Awsome. How often do ya get to see the "OT" turtles on tv anyways?
I'll deffinately be watching regardless of the countless times I already have online.

I just hope that they air the FULL version, rather than the EDITTED one that 4Kids did, but I'm not holding my breath.
The bad thing for ME is that we got a bit behind on our Dish bill, so they cut off our service. Still I may just humble myself and see if I can't spend that weekend with my sis, Penny, who had DirectTV. Hopefully, she'll let me, and I can see it.
And I totally agree about this maybe promoing the DVD more. It sure can't hurt, and if it IS the "director's cut" (so called) of the movie, AND it does well, ratings-wise, MAYBE it will convince Viacom/Paramount to RE-release the DVD as it should be released.
(Yeah, and Raph and the guys are gonna become real, and move IN with me. I wish. Still, it doesn't hurt to dream, does it?:twink: )
