According to Laird's most recent blog post (http://plairdblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/dover-dream.html) the Dover, NH abode where he and Eastman created the Turtles is now up for sale.

Wow, how awesome would it be to live there? The history.

We should all pitch in and turn it into a museum....or to some folks, a shrine. That sure is awesome though! Unfortunately, its location is way off target in regards to where I want to end up career-wise.

Helk Yeah! Lets start a house charity! So we can buy the house! And then we may even find the coordinates to Deminsion X! And more importantly the location of the turtles lair!

You were right, Buslady. Because according to Laird's most recent blog post, the house is gone.

To me there's nothing sadder than a grand old building being bulldozed only to be replaced with something sleek and souless. I can still hear the TV on with Love Connection and the A-Team playing. I guess the Shredder won after all. I would at least like to see a historical marker stating "Site of the conception of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 1983". But the memories will last forever.

Oh yeh... I forgot they bulldozed it. The town's been doing a big construction kick over the past year or two. Stuff's been getting shut down/torn down all Over the place. It's sad to see the house gone, But really... the memories are more important than the building.

I'm happy I went and tore a piece of it off when I did. Yay for vandalism!
