Top 3 Best / Worst, SEASON by SEASON!

[garada]

I'm interested to know...

What are everyone's 3 FAVORITE and LEAST FAVORITE Episodes of EACH Season? I know it's hard to pick so go ahead and count any multi-part episodes as '1'. :twink:

As for me:

Season 1 -

Favorites: Shredder Strikes Back, Return To NY and Search For Splinter [7 episodes]

Least Favorites: Garbageman, Notes From The Underground [too long at 3 episodes] and Lone Raph & Cub.
___________________________

Season 2 -

Favorites: Turtles In Space, Secret Origins and The Big Brawl [12 episodes total!]

Least Favorites: Reflections, Junklantis and Golden Puck
___________________________

Season 3 -

Favorites: Space Invaders, Worlds Collide and the entire 5 part TIME / SPACE arc [I know, I know, that's 11 episodes total!]

Least Favorites: The Christmas Aliens [not that I don't like Christmas, I just don't really like watching 'Christmas Episodes' if it 'tisn't the season], not sure what else; Season 3 was pretty great!

Season 4 and UP -

Yet To Watch...

Ok, I'll bite. I'll limit mine to single episodes.
-------
1st season Best: The Shredder Strikes Back Part 1 and 2 and Return to NY part 3.

1st season Worst: Garbageman, Nano, Notes from the Underground 2 (this really could have been condensed to a 2 parter).
-----
2nd season Best: Secret Origins 3, The Ultimate Ninja, Rogue in the House 2.

2nd season Worst: Reflections (its a clip show!), Junklantis, The Golden Puck.
------

3rd season Best: Hun on the Run, Bishop's Gambit, Exodus part 2.

3rd season Worst: The Entity Below, Across the Universe, Space Invaders part 2 (this could have been condensed).

------
4th season Best: Insane in the membrane, Tale of Master Yoshi My favorite single episode of the series), Adventures in Turtle Sitting

4th season Worst: Sons of the silent age, A wing and a prayer, All hallows theives
-------
5th season Best: the last 3 episodes (Past and Present and Enter the dragons I and II).

5th season Worst: Lap of the gods, demons and dragons and More worlds than one
-------
6th season best: Invasion of the body snatcher!, the Fall of darius, Dna is thicker than water

6th season worst: Headlock Prime, enter the jammerhead, the cosmic completist
------
7th season best: Karate Schooled, SuperQuest, City Under Siege

7th season worst: Incredible Shriking serling, Web wranglers, Super power struggle
----
Turtles Forever - I didn't count this as the 7th season, but these would be among my favorites wherever I count them.

Some of the seasons were overall better than others. Picking the worst in seasons 3 and 4 was difficult because most of those eps are pretty solid and are much better than the worst in the later or even the earlier seasons.

Thanks for the break down, nimrod! Very interesting, and I have to agree with you [and change my pick] on the WORST of Season 2... Reflections IS worse than April's Artifact. I do like the training sequences in Reflections; the NEW animation is high quality, and it's nice to see the Turtles training, but who really needs a recap of Season 1? Plus, I watched April's Artifact again and enjoyed it... a sorta crazy 'Kamandi' kinda story. It's still a 'throw-away' for the season in general, contributing nothing to the overall continuity, but it IS better than Junklantis [Garbageman is just lame] and Golden Puck [however, cowboys with machine guns in futuristic snowmobiles ARE kinda cool].

Anyway, I'm working my way through TMNT 2K3 again from beginning to end, so it got me thinking in a 'Season by Season' frame of mind. I'm about to get into Season 3 shortly, so I'll hopefully have a better answer than just 'the Christmas episode' for my 'Worst Of' episodes. Then it's on to Season 4, AND BEYOND!!!

I'd love to hear more people's opinions on this; I know 'Best Of' threads can get a little redundant, but I tried to make this one different enough that it'd still be interesting for fans of the 2k3 series to get into it.

So c'mon, CHAMPION your favorite episode of a season, and TRASH the ones you can't stand, never watch, or find to be simply 'over-rated'!

:tcool:

EDIT:

Turtles Forever - I didn't count this as the 7th season, but these would be among my favorites wherever I count them.

Also, This.
