Well currently on ebay there's a lot of 1-29 plus some tales and Raphael for $140 shipped:

$100 for 2-62 1st print NM seems a little low. Maybe for a later run set. That is barely even the cover price back when they were released. heh

I've seen it go for 100. In fact right after I bought mine for 500 I saw someone selling the complete run of Mirage, Archie, and Image for the same price. Mad was I. Depends on what else is up. If someone is selling it less obviously no one will buy yours. Just keep an eye out. Just recently though I saw a 1-62 Mirage set go for 100.

Yeah, the full Volume 1 run used to regularly go for $100 on eBay before the Turtles boom on the aftermarket. That was the average price back in the day.

Now, though, it's hard to gauge an average price because the lots go for such insanely varying amounts. Some people are still going with the $100 value, others are absolutel insane and asking for $500 or more.

Stick to the middleground and you might get some bites.

Yep I Sold My #1-62 For $155 Just A Couple Weeks Ago...


#1 And #2 Were Not First Prints But Still...

Highest prices I've seen are #1-62 (including #1 1st) but missing a few variant prints, sell for $1,850. #1-62 (no 1st) go for $150-500 (Depends on what variant issues are involved)

I currently have a whole set vol.1 #1-62 w/ one shots Includes EVERY Variant Print (every variant except #3 NYCC) for sale on eBay soon. All books are in single 3-ring sleeve resealable in 3" D-Slant Binders (4). I'm expecting to get over $2,000 as I've seen lesser sets sell for a similar price, not to mention not as nicely presented as my set is.

well ive got 1-62 and the mini series now. i dunno why im going nuts over TMNT lately. LOL. My nostalgia might be a little bit diff than some of you as ive got Eidetic memory(Photographic), so I recall things and images in my head to the very moment they happened, to include the house or location, time, and in some cases the weather too. I can recall when i first held a turtle figure(michaelangelo), or when i seen them on TV back in the early 90s. Perhaps this is what is fueling my buying up of stuff now. heh. At any rate, im enjoying my TMNT collecting.

Same here man. I have no idea what came over me. One day, I just said, "how are my TMNT doing?" I found this site, the "Mirage's", and BOOM! I've been buying endless issues from there and members here! I'm just a "selective collector", so I just really want to own the First and Second series.. ;)
