It's been removed from the sidebar and the site map (http://www.ninjaturtles.com/frames/map.htm).
That's... interesting.

Yeah, it's a shame. At least the comic listing is mostly preserved over at MirageLicensing.com.
Maybe you could work with Krang to start a new toy repository on TheTechnodrome main page?

That info should be placed on another site. I used to reference that all the time, such a shame. If I had the HTML docs I could recode it and upload it somewhere. The green and yellow never worked me me anyways.

Hopefully, it will all be back up at MutantOoze.org at some point.

I saved everything a few months ago and am working on getting it all on my site mutantooze.org, what I create could easily be duplicated for the Technodrome. No sense doing it twice ya know...

I grabbed the TMNT25 site before it vanished, too. Not sure why, but thought it might be worthwhile at some point, for posterity if nothing else.

I'm SO glad Master Splinter saved the site, because I was just thinking the other day that the comic section needed to be saved on the TMNTWikia or somewhere else to chronicle the printed adventures of the Turtles for future fans to discover.
I keep having a feeling that in a few years people are going to forget the Turtles really were comic book characters...moreso than now!

Exactly, same here. I'm so shocked, I was just on there the other night.
Maybe we should wait after they're finished redesigning the website before we freak out. Besides there is always http://www.archive.org/.

The reason NinjaTurtles.com has been pared down is that the DNS has been updated to point to Viacom's servers rather than Mirage's, so they're now in full control of the site. Now that Viacom is hosting it, I'm somewhat surprised they kept Mirage's design rather than waiting until they came up with a new one before moving, but that will probably be changed soon, too.
Of course, this also means that the old site still exists, although it may not be around for much longer. Luckily, Mirage has Apache set up so that it's the default site for their IP, so it's nice and easy to visit in case there's something you'd still like to save from there: http://75.150.71.241/
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the images are working by default due to their hotlinking script, but they can be viewed or saved individually.

Sure, I'd be glad to! That's a section that we've been hoping to find someone to help us maintain (or at least contribute to) since Shredder and I don't have access to the majority of the figures.

Why not just upload all of ninjaturtle.com's content to TheTechnodrome? Everything from the episode summaries, toy pics, comic summaries, etc.
I doubt Dan Berger will have a problem with it. In fact he'd probably be happy his hard work would be archived somewhere.
Why not rehaul the entire TheTechnodrome.com's site with all of ninjaturtles.com information?

Sorry, but we refuse to add anything to The Technodrome unless we first have full permission from whoever created the content. If Dan Berger gives us permission, we'd be happy to add anything he is willing to allow us to use, but he probably can't do that since Mirage most likely still owns the content.

Besides, I think he'd rather all his hard work still be up somewhere than deleted/removed forever.
The thing is ninjaturtles.com was an archive of all TMNT related material, complete with episode summaries, pictures, DVD listings, comic summaries, etc.
It was a huge help to anyone new to TMNT and had no idea what all this stuff is. Its a shame if it is lost.

Yes, the new site will be about the show and a "crappy flash site" for kids, you know their target demographic. Theres archive.org and plenty of people were archiving the website last year, its really a surprise it lasted that long but Nick likely didn't have anything to do with it until now since they are going to begin re-running the 2k3 show and they need to point new fans to their website.
Yeah ninjaturtles.com was a great resource for information, but hey the info will still be out there and we all knew this was going to happen eventually, and no Nick getting rid of the old site doesn't mean they don't respect the turtles or whatever, they just can't maintain it, they likely have one guy who does all of Nick.com and they aren't going to have a separate site for tmnt when all their other shows don't. Mirage could do it because well its the only property they had that was worth anything. This is really the opportunity for thetechnodrome to become THE resource for TMNT.
Personally I'm glad Nick is finally showing signs of doing stuff with the property and we'll see more once the re-runs start and more in 2011 when we start getting info about the movie and new show. If you want to know what the new website will look like just go to nick.com and check the websites for their other shows, thats what it'll look like so start complaining now. IMO it gets the job done, also the TMNT will finally have an official board though I'm guessing it'll be as moronic as the 4kids website board.

As much as a good reference ninjaturtles.com was it is horribly put together on the back end... If you are a web developer you would understand... Some files link to each other in very odd ways, some sloppy code, etc... there isn't a standard on some it.. I have been cleaning up alot of the code and I hope to have everything done within the next month... If there are any ideas of improvements that any of you would like to see I can add those as well.

Not that this change was unexpected or anything... still sucks. As alot of you have in the past, I too would check the site when I needed to referance something. Oh well.

I emailed Dan Berger about this. He said when they are not busy with mail orders they plan to add the rest of the comic archive including the full issues of the comics at www.miragelicensing.com.
It was a good site it will be missed:cry: but we all must move on. Change is always good.:)

But the Turtles are more than just one freakin' show! D: They should just have made the ninjaturtles.com site unofficial and have their freakin' show page on Nick.com. I loved ninjaturtles.com. It felt... personal, somehow. I also liked the comic listings and that you could actually read some of them on there. Very nice.
This is bloody awful. But at least we have archive.com, indeed. But way to garner hate from me, Nick. Never did like you, but this certainly changes nothing.

If you read through this topic you'll notice Master Splinter has the comics, as well as a large portion of Mirage's old content, listed on his site's TMNT Database section on http://www.mutantooze.org . He even has an ooze canister progress bar showing how much of the content has been uploaded to its respective section.
