Well, I didn't see another topic like that, I'm sorry if it already exist...

I'm really curious to know who are your favorites and least favorites characters and it would be nice if you could explain why you like or dislike them. It can be from feason 1-2-3-4, from the Ninja tribunal season, from Fast Forward or from Back to the Sewers. I won't add a poll because there is too many characters... And please, don't write only your favorite turtle, I want to know which characters peoples likes beside the turtles!

Here's my personal favorites:
Donatello: Actually, he's the only turtle, and the only good guy in my favorites. He always been my favorite turtle, because he's the brain of the bunch, he's more pacifist than the others, his weapon is my favorite out of the 4 and his bandana is my favorite color.

Baxter Stockman: I always found funny that he keep losing parts of his body... And I like that he keep coming back even when everybody else (even Shredder) would've be dead. But what really make him one of my favorite is the "Insane in the membrane" episode, because it so sad that it maked me cry... and I like when a villain can make me cry because of his past... Baxter is just a good guy who've make wrong choices...

Hun: Most of peoples don't like Hun, but I like him. I like his design and his tatoos, and the fact that he's smarter than he seem. And I started to like him even more in the BttS episode "SuperQuest" :D

Dr. Chaplin: Well, I like his fanboyish attitude toward Stockman and that he doesn't seem to fit at all with the villains. He's way too nice to be a villain, but still work for them... And he's really cute when he have his goatee (In the Ninja Tribunal and BttS seasons)

John Bishop: I don't really know why I like him, I just like him... Maybe it's because he seem so sure that he is the good guy...

Least favorites:
The only characters I don't like are Utrom Shredder and Cyber Shredder, because for me, Shredder is human. I can tolarate Tengu Shredder since he's a human possesed by a demon, but the others two just doesn't sound right to me...

favorite characters from new toon are Hun, Bishop, and Ultimate Ninja. all 3 are cool bad guys who usually give the turtles a good fight. i also like the way they did the Hamato Yoshi character. least favorite characters are Turtle Titan, The Ancient One, and Sirling, cause they annoy me, Lol.

Of the good guys, I'd say Raphael. This is probably my favorite incarnation of the character, as far as the more accurate 'angry' ones go anyway, because he's not just angry, he seems to still have a smart-ass personality under it all.

As for bad guys, I'd say Ch'rell. He's just way too freaking insane not to love. I mean, we're talking about a guy willing to destroy himself, destroy EVERYTHING, just to kill the turtles.

Hmmm... Raphael was always my favorite in the OT, but I'm not as big a fan of his in the 2K3 series. What can I say? I like him better "Chandler-esque" than "Wolverine-ish". Still, he may be my favorite just by association with his sillier counterpart. Part of me is tempted to actually vote for Leo as my favorite 2K3 Turtle, as I think he's the only Turtle whose character improved (in my opinion, at least) between the OT and the 2K3 series. He was always the serious one, but in the 2K3 series he had some emotional depth that made it okay. Not gonna vote for Donatello or Mikey on this one. I liked that slight klutziness factor that OT Don had (What with his gizmos frequently exploding), and Mikey can be funny with his one-liners and pop-culture references, but after a while he can grate on one's nerves a bit. So yeah, Raph and Leo are in my favorites list, Don and Mikey are not.

Bishop is definitely a favorite villain - and later hero - as he's the kinda guy you love to hate. You can sympathize with the Turtles loathing and distrusting of this total creep.

I have mixed feelings on the Ancient One... he was one of my favorite characters when he was helping Leo on his quest; he was wise, but funny, as he intentionally prodded, begged from, and passed gas around Leonardo. After that, though, he was all serious. I kinda thought that he and Michelangelo could've played off one another well, but that didn't pan out. So he's on my faves AND least faves list.

Most of the Fast Forward characters don't impress me - as I thought that season was a bit of a "jumping the shark while wearing tartar sauce" moment - but I've gotten a lot of eyestrain from rolling my eyes at each appearance of a certain robotic constable and a particular spikey-haired cyborg thief. Very lame characters that were just plain annoying. Ugh.

Favorite Turtle: Leonardo. Easy to say that since he is my username. I loved Leo in the series! Being the leader to that way he felt guilty about nearing getting killed when they fought Ch'rell in Exodus, to becoming the master in the Lost Season. Mikey may of been the most entertaining (and the most annoying at times) but Leo truly was the heart and soul of the Turtles.

Favorite human ally: April and Casey (TIE) I really can't pick between the two. April was hardcore, more involved than OT April. Wasn't just a damsel in distress. She really did help and leaned on the Turtles for guidance. Casey was great because of his bond with Raph and the fact that dispute the fact that he didn't stand a chance most of the time, he kept fighting because it was the right thing to do.

Favorite non-human ally: Usagi. God, I love that rabbit. Just wish he had more screentime. He really was Leo's best friend and they fought so well together. Usagi is the ultimate bushido warrior and a damn good fighter.

Favorite Villian: Bishop. I prefer him to Ch'rell, Hun, and even Stockman because he was a good guy that used bad methods to achieve goodness. He was misguided but that is what made his character fun to watch.

Favorites = Leonardo, Usagi, Gen, Leatherhead, Honeycutt, & oddly enough, The Ancient One. At first I hated him but he grew on me quickly.

Casey Jones is my favorite character in most versions of the TMNT but I hated how they portrayed him in 2k3... Same goes for Mikey. Though he's never been a favorite of mine, they really f*cked him up royally. No disrespect to Wayne Grayson, of course.

As for my least favorites, Touch & Go, aswell as Garbage Man come to mind first. They were waaaaayy too cheasy to me. For a show that took itself so seriously, its hard to believe they'd let those two in there. There were some other no-name villain types I wasn't fond of but they're not worth mentioning. Those three stuck out the most.

Forgot my least favorite of all 2k3 characters: Well, most would say Garbageman but I would have to say any Purple Dragon that wasn't Hun.

I've been watching the show in this throughout the Summer, I'm currently at episode 23 of the 3rd season so i can't speak for characters that appear later in the show such as Cody, etc. so here are my favorites and least favorites so far:

Favorites

The Turtles - Yes, I cheated. I like all the Turtles, even Mikey, even though he pisses me off sometimes.

Splinter - One of the coolest dad's of all time.

Baxter Stockman - I just love when he brags how great he is and how he gets mutilated as teh show goes on

Hun - Didn't care for him at first but he's actually smarter than he looks. Also, he hates karai, so I can relate to him in that aspect. Hun on the Run is one of my favorite episodes by the way.

The Shredder - How can you not like The Shredder? Making him an Utrom was a genius move on the writers part, also him "dieing" 3 times before being revealed that he was actually an Utrom made him much more threatening and intimidating, he kind of lost steam after his secret got uncovered, in my opinion.

Usagi Miyamoto - His fight scenes are always great to watch and he can also be funny without trying, the opposite of Mikey.

Least favorites

Karai -How can you be honorable and serve The Shredder at the same time? What a hypocritical woman.

Garbageman - Lamest.Villain.Ever. He was not only in one episode but in TWO?! Also, gross.

Nanotech Robot - A giant powerful robot who acts like a 6 year old? What?! And like Garbageman he was in not one but TWO episodes!

Casey Jones - In season 2 he just became a retard and always got his *** handed to him.

That girl who was Lord Simultaneous apprentice - Ugh, so annoying.

Justice Force - They dont belong in the TMNT Universe. Oh and them battling the triceraton invasion was ridiculous.

There's no one else that I particularly like or dislike to put them in my list. Bishop seems like a great character but he hasn't been in many episodes so far, he might end up in my favorites list in the future.

I have to say I'm not very fond of April in this show, and was it really necessary for Splinter to train her in Ninjutsu?

Favorites:

Leonardo - A tough decision, as I like them all, but I think Leo takes the cake as my favorite turtle from 2k3. His character is much more complex here than it's ever been before. His frequent internal struggles, namely during season 4, used to make me want to climb into the TV and slap him accross the head and yell "get over it, dude!". But, everyone's been in Leo's shoes at one time or another, and now I that I've had the time to think about it, I can really relate to him. Plus his fights are awesome to watch.

Splinter - I've always liked the character of Splinter, but he's especially likeable in the 2K3 series. He takes a much more active role in aiding and training the turtles than he had before, and his dry sense of humor often times makes me laugh.

Hun - Much like everyone else, I thought Hun was going to be this generic run-of-the-mill thug, but as the series goes on you find out that there's much more to Hun than meets the eye. He's a fun character to watch interacting with all the others, and his fights with turtles are always exciting.

Garbageman - Lots of hate for Garbageman here, but I have to admit I found him quite amusing in contrast to all the other villains. His character is just so blatantly stupid that I can't help but laugh every time he comes on and starts his psychotic rambling about how trash is the ultimate power in the universe. I think the fact that Mike Pollock is the one reading Garbageman's dialogue also has something to do with it. The guy is hilarious.

The Rat King - I loved the revelation of how the Rat King came to be in this series. When I realized what the heck he was at the start of his episode I was freaking out because it was so awesome and unexpected. He's creepy and unusual, but has all of the fighting prowess of Bishop and a power over rats that even he can't begin to explain. His one battle with the turtles under his "Rat King" guise was extremelly epic and left me begging for more, it's a shame they never really used him again.

Least Favorites:

Silver Sentry - It's nothing personal, but having "Superman" in the same series as the TMNT just doesn't work for me.

Nano - Probably the weakest of the villains from the series for me. The idea behind him is vaguely interesting, but it just didn't hold my attention.

Karai - I respect her the importance of her character and her place in the show, but she is so wishy-washy about her conceptions of right and wrong that it's hard to keep track of her. I know that moral ambiguity can be highly effective in making a character interesting, but in Karai's case I don't think she even knew where she stood half the time.

My favorite characters were Casey Jones and Donatello. I really wish they could've paired those two up in an episode.

My least favorite character was Bishop's clone who became the Rat King. I thought that was dumb. Rat King should be his own character, not connected to another villian.

Favorites:
- Utrom Shredder. I'm for it. :tcool:
- The Fugitoid aka Dr. Honeycutt
- Kirby... wish we'd have gone back to his world, maybe with the Justice Force!
- Triceratons in general.

LEAST Favorites:
- The kid in 'Lone Raph & Cub'
- the cast from the 'Underground' episodes.
- Garbageman. Ugh.

Nobody was pretty bad, but he was pretty bad in the comics as well. But at least he died in the comics.
Silver Sentry was the do gooder Complete Carnage of the series. Extremely powerful but he just sucks.
Touch and Go. I'm convinced those two shared more than energy with each other. Plus the voices just didn't seem right.
Garbageman and Nano. They were just filler.
Tengu Shredder and Cyber Shredder. They were overkill, to me Ch'rell was the best Shredder in this Series.
Kahn. Damn Tatsu wannabe.
Triple threat. Filler
Favorite
Leonardo, Donnie and Raph all had great character development. Raph with his anger, Leo with his fears and defeat, Donnie with losing Splinter and in SAINW. Mikey would be there too, but it semed like he never learned from his mistakes.
Ch'rell. He was just so evil and persistent. I liked howat first the TMNT were but thorns on his side. But by the end they were the bane og his existence.
Baxter. He was probably the best villain of the show. He was more machine than man by the end of it all.
Bishop. Dude was just too badass not to like him.
April and Casey. They just worked so well in so many different ways. Although the super april and dimwitted sidekick Casey kinda bothered me but eh, nothing's perfect.
Shokonabo and the dark turtles. Best thing from Fast forward

Fugitoid Jones

Favorite: Raphael (always my favorite Turtle), Usagi, "Fugitoid" Professor Honeycutt, Baxter Stockman, Shredder.

Am I the only one that kinda liked Touch And Go?

Least Favorite: Sirling (cliche butler robot with british accent), actually most of the supporting cast from FF, the mobsters from the Golden Puck episode, and just like alot of people, I didn't like Garbageman and Nano much either.

lol Everyone HATES the Garbageman? Did anyone like him? I kinda wish that Season 5 episode, revealing him as the twin brother of Hun would of been interesting to see.

I would any day have Garbageman episode rather than clipshow. Also I pretty much like every character or at least don't hate them with passion.

But my favorites:
Casey and April yeah Casey was a goofball but still I don't mind humor since most of his idiot things were funny.
HunI hated him first because I thought he was just some henchmen who would later in the series get his beaten very easily.
Hamato YoshiCool human ninja, wouldn't have mind have more episodes about his adventures.
Baxter Stocmanevil grazy scientist but also has lots of depth.

Least favorites:
Silver SentryI dislike superman-type characters.
Tengu and Cyber Shedder while not totally awful but hate the way kept making speeches how uber they are and then some hero makes critical hit and they yell "WHAT!!!" and this happens too many times.
Toy-villainfrom Serling episode. It ain't fair to put one episode guys but this just annoys me too much.

No, I kinda liked them too... But maybe it's just my inner yaoi fangirl speaking... And Mr. Go was pretty cute!

Kahn. Damn Tatsu wannabe.
Kaaaaaahn!!!! :D *is shot for this awful Star Trek reference* Yes, I totally agree with you for this one, he remembered me of Tatsu too...

Forgot to say earlier but I like Khan but I think he should have been solo villain rather than servant of Shedder. I mean as soon as he was revealed as member of foot clan Turtles started to kick his ass pretty easy.

I like Leo (w/c am surprised because Don's my fave OT turtle) until season 4.

:Hugely Dislike:

Shredder. Seriously, they should have dropped everything about the guy as soon as he got frozen in ice. Lady Shredder, Tengu and Cyber were annoying.

Karai. Which is painful for me to say because I like her character. A LOT. She derailed hard in later seasons. Fortunately, Turtles Forever completely redeemed her for me.

The Justice Force. I feel they're just cramping the TMNT's style.

Cody Jones. He's the exact equivalent of the OT Red Sky Carter; teen human boy acting as the sixth ranger of the group. A huge mistake.

:I wished they were given character development and depth and screentime to like them:

Casey Jones.

Mikey. Which is a shame, as his relationship with Klunk would have given him a chance to be likeable.

Like- turtles, Usagi, Traximus, Bishop, April, Ch'rell, Ultimate Ninja

HATE - Touch&Go, Garbageman, both monster hunters, and alot of other 1-D one-shot villains. Hate is a strong word. My ambivalence was just more pronounced and I tend to skip these episodes.

My favorites would have to be:

Casey Jones - I like Casey because he is just a regular guy who wants to make a differance. He puts himself in situations that most people would try to run from. The fact that he is willing to stand up and say enough is enough. I also really like the fact that he isn't the sharpest tool in sheed but will stand for whatever he belives in.

Hun - For a character that started out as thug/muscle for another character I think he got a lot of development a the series went on. Yes he was strong and followed orders but when we started seeing him question and have assperations of his own it made it interesting. When he broke away from the Shredder and started running the Purple Dragons like an empire it was truly scary. And then in Turtles Forever when he became mutated, well it fit as he became what he hated.

My least favorites would have to be:

Touch & Go - Just seemed out of place fighting the turtles. I just never understood why they where there.

That three headed wrestler from Fast Forward, he was just down right annoying.
