Back in 2001 or 2002, I came bought an actual right arm of Donatello from Turtles 3, it was from the stunt suit. It was in excellent shape, only being a little bit rough around the wrist. It was worn by Steven Ho, as it had his last name written just inside near the elbow. I bought it directly from a costume dresser who worked on the film in Astoria, Oregon. I had this thing until last Christmas...it was stolen from me. I also bought a pre-production ooze cannister from TMNT 2. It was also stolen with the arm.

Board member Nelson was nice enough to post my "movie 1 NYC" film location pics...maybe he'll post a few pics of my Donatello arm and cannister.

That sucks big time, man. It's also a little weird. A prop tief? Is that common? Maybe it was a normal tief that just took some stuff and didn't even knew what it was... which would make the event even worse, I guess.

Sure! The only thing is that it would have to wait until tonight, as I can't access my e-mail right now. Maybe some other member could do it sooner?

Oh, another thing... it seems that this thread should be in the "Collection Photos" section. So it probably will be moved eventually.

Cool! And you're also making an A-Team van? Awesome!

Yeah...I've been working on the A-Team van for about 3 years now. So many of the parts are hard to find, you have to make them yourself. I'm doing the inside of the van just as it was on TV also, with surveilance recorders, police scanners, 2 big wooden cabinets, gun lock box, same seats and interior. The wheels were hard to find but I have them. It should be getting out of the paint shop soon and I'll have it completed by Thanksgiving.

I also have a pretty cool, but small arcade machine collection. I have a very clean and hardly used 1989 Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles original, coin operated arcade machine (4 player). I've had it for 10 years. I also have 1987 Double Dragon and a great 1980 Pacman.

I also have my own outdoor "drive in" theater on my property. I built a huge movie screen that is 15 ft wide and 12 ft tall, I'm always having huge cookouts with friends and neighbors. Back on March 30, the 20th anniversary of the original tmnt film, I showed it outside on the same night of its original release. I had about 50 friends over and we had "Dominoes Pizza" and watched the Turtles movie on a drive in screen with loud speakers! I was so busy that night I didn't take any pics...but I did the same kind of thing on July 3 for the 25th anniversary of "Back to the Future". I had 70 something people over for that party...I also had a DeLorean out for everyone to get their pics with.

I did take pics of that party.....I'll send you a few.

Dude, that sounds... great! Some thoughts:

1.- A drive in theater of your own! Get out!

2.- A TMNT party with 50 friends? You mean that you know 50 friends in real life who would go to a TMNT party?! That's awesome! 'Cause right know I have zero, count them, zero friends who would like to participate in something like that. Sad panda. I'm assuming here that those 50 people where not forced to watch the movie. Because why would you do such a thing? That's disturbing, man! Please stop it.

3.- I'd like to go to your next party.

4.- A DeLorean! !!11!!!!??!

That's all. PLUS: check your PMs.

Well....your comments were funny...I didn't force anyone to watch the original TMNT film, lol! I made 50-60 flyers for the occasion, passed them out to friends at work, at church, people on my street. As I do at every "movie party", I plug in all my arcade machines for people to play and we have tons of pizza and sodas, popcorn.

I had people there from age 5 to 50-something years old. Some of my friends can even quote parts of the film, so when it got to the scene at the "foot warehouse", and the head thug(Sam Rockwell) was showing 2 new recruits around, we all shouted his lines..."Ok check it out, anything you guys want, we got. Anything you wanna do, DO...you know what I'm sayin', "anything". "You got any cigarettes? Regular or menthol?" We had a blast. I shot off huge fireworks before and at the end of the film, to commemorate the occasion. As soon as the turtles threw their hands together in the final scene and shouted, "COWABUNGA", I had several huge fireworks blow in the sky...people started cheering because of my timing! After the movie was over, some folks had to leave, but those of us who stayed around watched the original cartoon pilot episode "Turtle Tracks" and then we connected the nintendo to my projector and played the old NES "turtle" games on my drive-in screen. We finally stopped around 1:00 am that night...we were ot of Mt. Dew and pizza.

My "Back to the Future" party was even bigger and more hyped! I actually had a DeLorean car at my home for people to take their photos with all night. I shot off firewoks at the start of the film, and built a huge replica of the famous "clock" from the movie, and I mounted it up on the side of my garage where the party was taking place. The youngest person at this party was probably 4 or 5 yrs old, and the oldest person was my neighbor and his wife...who are in their early 70s. Everyone had a good time, I always mute out "bad language" in films so everyone has a good, clean time. The older folks thanked me afterwards and told me they felt like they were in high school again on a date at the real drive in.

The next major movie party I'm having will be the "20th Anniversary of Home Alone" this December for Christmas time.

Come on over, we currently have (2) houses on my street for sale!

By the way, my "A-Team" van is getting painted this week and then I should have it back home in a week or 2 to start finishing up the inside.
