Original sculpt Foot Clan Ninjas now painted and complete

Time for another update, have my Foot Clan all done and ready. I went with the cartoon colors on this one, just seem more iconic than the original figure. But i was really tempted to make arcade game colors.

Construction wise these are a bunch of dalhsims from street fighter resculpted almost entirely. I redid some things since i took the wip pictures last time. Like i wasnt liking the heads so so I resculpted them all. I'm much happier with them.... well one head came out kinda swollen looking. It's odd when i do headsculpts like these my first one comes out the best then the ones i try to copy things come out not as good. The new headsculpts i did are more based on the original toy head. I sculpted this out grey apoxie instead of white, i don't think i sculpt as good with grey. Plus i feel the sculpts on these arnt the best, because i was literally like sculpting two at the same time. so i don't feel i put 100% focus in it, when i was doing things at the same time.

Paint wise it's tamiya spray paint as a black base coat with liquitex purple painted over. I wanted the purple to have allot of color fading while the black was gonna be more subdued. The hands came out kinda neony in some shots they aint that bad in person.

I added allot of accessories. Since I'm Totally obsssed with the old konami video games i decided i wanted to make allot of things based on what the purple foot ninjas carried in the games. The thing i love the most is the big yellow bomb the foot carry around, i think it came out so cool. It's made from a bottle of monster energy, and i made the nose part of apoxie, then use some cardboard for the wings. I painted a face on it just like the game, i also added some silver detail pock marks to make it look worn, but it doesn't show that much in the pics. Most of the paint is on the tip of the nose and i didnt take and frontal shots. I also included a tire, it's from the dcsh bizzarro figure, I also made a stick of dynamite, and the long blue spear from the game as well. Then the other things are just the weapons that came with the original foot toy.

I also made a set of interchangible battle damaged parts. The head was designed to look like the foot robot head on the old mutating foot soldier figure. But i made mine silver instead of gold like the old toy. I also made some cut arm parts, with a bunch of wires and stuff hanging out. The wires are made from the ones used in toy packaging.

Well I've been inspired by allot of the game inspired things on your site. I've always loved all that. and i still need to copy you granitor.

You could use the Sewer lid that comes with The Spirit, form The Spirit toyline... He also comes with a cat. If you ever need one...

Thank for the feedback, right now I'm working on my next two. Tatsu [hyperstone heist version] and shredder, I'm done pussying around doing shredder. I'll hopefully figure out how to make his blades when i get there. I figure I'll use styrene, but if i can think of anything better....

Awesome work, Rat King Foot soldiers etc. Also seeing your neca turtle toon version just makes me wonder why neca hasn't done some repaints and put the letters on their belts. I am sure they would sell like the comic versions probably better even.
