hi everyone, i've made a custom splinter
made from my old toy, i decided to make him look a little more to a rat than the original one.
i made one of his ears cut like in the movie, made him more darker like in the comic book

He looks pretty cool--I especially dig the whiskers (I use fishing line myself for the same effect). I think the darker color scheme suits him pretty well, but I do prefer Splinter brown myself.

I prefer the white eyes -- and I really like this custom. :D What modifications did you make to the tail?

[QUOTE= What modifications did you make to the tail?[/QUOTE]

i cut the bad looking grey end from the original figure and remade one that look more to a rat one in milliput, and i tried to sculpt some details on the tail

I like it, I think it's a bit too dark though, a lighter shade of brown might have brought out the details a bit better IMO. Either way I like it, the whiskers and the tail give it a real charm.

i know that most of you like him in lighter brown, i just wanted him darker, kind of black brown rat
the picture has been picked with a yellow lamp and flash

I have one that I am working on that is similiar but I am doing a little sculpting.

on yours what I would do is take off the sleeves so it won't look so much like a t-shirt, get some light brown wash over his material and dry brush his leg wrappings with a beige.

:)

Otherwise , I think yours looks better than the original!
