Hey, anybody else check out the latest Blast From the Past? (http://www.planetracers.com/blast/blastarchive.html) There have been a few recent updates, including an awesome Eastman picture of Don done in a totally neat style. They look so cool.

Yeah. I like the definition in his legs. (Reow!) The coloring effect is totally mind-blowing. And the "alternative" costume is neat.

I know, but the slip-up suddenly made Don sound way more sexy to fit the pic. Personally, I think his arms look good there... can't see much of the legs...

But, I so love the cybernetic swords Leo has too!

Hey...those sketches look awesome! I can't believe Kevin was gonna throw that Don sketch away. I'm glad Peter stopped him!

mmm... well, aside from the cool color job and the different attire, Don's poise is rather typical of how Kevin does sketches for people at comic conventions: turtle standing there, holding up their weapon of choice in the right hand. :razz:

Aww man, I've never gone to a comic convention. Well, I've been to really small comic gatherings. So small that no one famous ever showed up. But a major comic con...I'd like to go to one of those someday :smile:

one lucky day, that may happen! Since you're in LA, Azure, you're purty close to the BIG San Diego comic con a mess of TMNT fans go too. I actually got lucky last year and went to that for the first time (to see Kevin)!

Great turtle gods!! I forgot that they held that big comic con in San Diego. When does that take place? Is it during the summer?

Yeah, it usually is! Last year the Comic Con was in July. This year, it'll be... August 1-4.

Kevin doesn't have anything to do with the TMNT anymore, since he's commited his time to Heavy Metal and Julie Strain. But he'll still do TMNT sketches and signatures for yah. He still loves his TMNT fans!

There are no such things as Comic Book Cons where I live! :sad:

I remember when you used to be able to pick up old comics at the Charity and Thrift stores. Sadly no more! The old biddies that run them have now grown wize to comic book values.

Oh well, I can but dream.

Hey Nun, maybe when you become filthy rich, you can come visit us! Then we'll all head down to the comic con! It'd be a lot of fun. :grin:
