I doubt that anyone cares, but I for one did like Vanilla Ice's Ninja Rap song as well as the remix he did.
And it's cool that people like it too,

Where's the link for the free download? Couldn't find it on his site. :/... I was hoping he would the ninja dance too. haha.
I couldn't understand a single word he was saying. Still interesting though. Nice find.

Despite my disliking for all things Vanilla Ice, that song isn't half bad...

Sweet. Glad he doesn't regret his part in the movie I'm watching right now.

This needs to be in the new film for sure.

If only that were sarcasm.

When that college rock song started in TMNT (2007), I was already wishing for some Ninja Rap :tsad:

There are a lot of people who can't imagine TMNT without Vanilla Ice. They're synonymous in the midns of so many who were fans when they were young that it's really all they remember when asked about any of the movies.
The next in line is "when Bebop and Rocksteady were in the movie." Hehe!

Haha, well I wouldn't knock the original song for the sheer nostalgia factor. It's just that a lot of folks don't realize that this "remix" is not a nod to the TMNT but rather the Insane Clown Posse. They supposedly coined ninja as being the white mans counterpart to ni**a... That's not something that should be a part of the TMNT's history.

You're not suggesting that the real name of this song is '*****' Rap 2? Because that's not true.
Urban Dictionary also begs to differ;
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ninja
The song hasn't much to do with the TMNT, but neither did the first one really.
In this interview, Ice explains why he did the song;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbpSzZTPAks
When he went to concerts, people were screaming "NINJA RAP!" so Ice did a remix to sing at his concerts. He did the same thing to Ice Ice Baby.
Also, the word Ninja just means friend/bro/homie and was first used by Wu-Tang fanboys because they used to sample Hong Kong movies, it never caught on and ICP started using it, it has nothing to do with the other N word. :trolleye:

Haha, funny. The source you've credited as proof for my being incorrect, has backfired.
8.ninja 207 up, 88 down
buy ninja mugs, tshirts and magnets
A better N word to use for your boys instead of the ***** word!!!
Bonzi: yo you know Ollie from Dallas
Quinn" Ya thats my ninja!!
Page 2, sucka'. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ninja&page=2
Also, most underground hip hop fans know ICP fans for being synonomous with the whole ninja thing...
I won't say they invented it necessarily, but they definitely brought it out to the mainstream.
Besides, yes he said fans want more ninja rap, but I believe that their whole clique looks at it in that light.
The whole song is about the ICP following.
Also, guess what, a lot of african americans say that the word "N!gga" just means friend/bro/homie.
If all of those words are the same, what's the difference here? Don't be a ball buster.

He mentions them once.

Well to be fair, they're only referenced once in the first verse, but 4 times.
People come around VIPs and and the Clowns,
Juggalo love, I'm selling every place out,
When we rage at the gathering with ICP, etc
*The Gathering is an ICP festival or something*
He also refers to himself as a darkside soldier in the second verse, which much like Juggalo, is a term for an ICP fan or affiliate.

So, he thanks the ICP fans for coming to his concerts and for seeing him play at the Gathering.
Doesn't mean that he's saying the N word when he sings about Ninjas or does a remix of an old song.

...I'm not gonna say it's fact, but it's well within the realm of possibility granted the rest of his clique uses the term in that manner.
End of discussion.

this is too funny, here you cleary have no idea juggalo history. the word ninja is not a substitute for the n-word. it means the same as it did way back when... check out "wish i was a ninja" by icp. i believe it was out before wu-tang clan. ninja and the n-word correlation began in a movie when a white guy says it to a black man not sure what movie. i know this because i do consider myself a juggalo and not by the means of what haters term juggalo either. nuff said

Fair enough.
I've heard different, but I'm under the impression that you know more about the ordeal.
Which makes me think that Ice is a good business man.
Because he has different fanbases, he might have found away to please more then oneĆ
He's played at the Gathering, done stuff with ICP, so he has Juggalo fans.
Then there's a group that only like his retro stuff.
So, making a song called Ninja Rap 2, he could easily market it to both fanbases...

Googling Juggalo, some of the best random googles I've had in a long time.

So, I was randomly watching videos on YouTube when I stumble on a new song by Vanilla Ice and guess who shows up with some funky ninja rap dance moves?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO6im8EfxpA&feature=related
None other than Leonardo!
This really cracked me up, I had a feeling that some other people might find this as entertaining as me.

Another video, apparently this wasn't planned, Ice just saw two guys dressed up as the TMNT during a show and had them come up on stage to dance with him!

I actually saw him at the local shell gas station last weekend pumping gas in clown make-up. He saw I was wearing a TMNT shirt and said if he performed the ninja rap song and dance, would I throw in extra for the tip. I wanted him to keep some self respect so I politely declined and drove off playing the ninja rap on my stereo.

He's a house flipper. He's got a show on the DIY/Home & Garden network where he's fixing up this huge mansion.

I couldn't understand a single word he was saying. Still interesting though. Nice find.
All I understood was the word "Puerto Rican".
The lyrics
'cause I cater to my crew ones that pull me through,
the blacks, Puerto Ricans and the white people too,
Okay...
When I looked up those lyrics the song started playing. He was using loops from a music program I use to compose. Nice

i thought it was just plain random fun
So did anyone find the song on his website? I didn't so I'd appreciate a link..
Anyways its indeed pretty cool that he is embracing the Ninja Rap, I didn't expect it since a few years ago when he played in my town and apparently not many people bought tickets and he refused to go on stage unless the bar was full so the bar just started giving free tickets to everyone they saw outside.
