Alright, I'm rather new to this forum, being the newest user and all... But anyway, I was just wondering who everyone's favorite character is and why. Mine is, of course, Donatello. Not only was he way smart, but he was cool too, not to mention in my mind the second best fighter next to Raph. Next in line would have to be Leatherhead, then Rocksteady.

Hay.. welcome dood!
*HT chalks another one up* I also am tied between Don and Raph... but there will be times I like Mike and Leo too.
Ooh, newbie! Hiya and welcome and all that. It's another newbie thread! *looks out for paintball guns and water hoses*
Heh heh, Raph and Don are also my favorite Turtles.

Wassup dude! Welcome, make yourself at home! Just watch out for a few crazy ones lurking about...heh heh. I'm Azure Turtle, your friendly neighborhood blue mutant turtle. And no, I'm not crazy!
*stomps on the ground, angrily*
Favorite turtle, eh? That honor would have to go to Mikey. He and I have very similar personalities, though I don't show it as much. I usually keep to myself, since I'm stuck in college with a bunch of weirdos. Anywho, Mikey's carefree attitude and cheerfulness are traits I've always wanted to exemplify in my own life. It's been good so far  Again, welcome to the Technodrome!

Welcome new comer to our little world of TMNT insanity!
I am Nun, as you might have guessed!
Hmmmmm My favorite turtle. Up until a few years ago it was Raphael, but now I am a Leonardo fan. Why? I guess since having my daughter I have matured a tiny bit and gone a bit Leo in the process.
Enjoy your stay!

A FEW crazy ones? Don't listen to him, we're ALL crazy!
Mikey is my favorite turtle because I love goofy guys! I'll confess to having a bit of a thing for the cartoon Shredder too. I dunno, there's just something sexy about a guy in a helmet and a cape.
I also love Splinter because rats rule!!!

Hi, GrandaddyDonatello! Welcome!
Did you mean favorite character in general or favorite turtle? In the first case, look at my nickname. If you meant Turtles, then it is probably Donatello. He is so smart.
GrandaddyDonatello
03-30-2002, 08:19 AM
Yeah. Donatello and Raph were always my personal faves, although Mike was almost as cool as them. I was always just more like Don, so I naturally gravitated towards him. Thanx for the welcome, in any case. Much more welcoming than most of the forums I've joined, that's for sure.

Awwww, well that's because we are a bunch of nice friendly guys!

That's right! I was registered in many forums but I've already left almost all of them. The Technodrome is one of the few sites that really appeal to me and I suppose the reason is not only the topic that unites all its visitors but the friendly atmosphere as well!

The original was no good to begin with. Might I suggest not responding to the sequel's posts?

I remember a movie called speed, i didn't like it too much, it had a sequel, I didnt like it either

Wasn't keanu reeves in that? He was good in the matrix, but that was a good movie anyway. When I first saw it, I immediatly thought that the turtles should make another movie and use action scenes like that.. It would kick shiznit!

03-30-2002, 09:35 PM
Yep, almost all of us here are very friendly. We love our fellow turtleholics! So put your feet up and relax.
*drags Grandaddy to a reclining chair*
There you go. And the mangoes are on the house!
*offers Grandaddy a mango of peace*
Speed? Nah, I didn't like that movie very much. Matrix was definitely an awesome movie! A TMNT movie with those kinda action scenes would kick some major shell. In any case, I just hope that TMNT 4 is actually undergoing production...

03-30-2002, 09:46 PM
how come i don't get a mango of peace? pfff.
...and to answer the original question, my favorite turtle is, and always has been raphael. i loved his sarcasm.

You mean you didn't receive your welcome mango yet?? Great oogly moogly! I shall remedy that...
*grabs Rockin' Reptile and sets her down on a reclining chair opposite of Grandaddy*
Here you go!
*gives the reptile a mango of peace*
Grandaddy, this is Rockin' Reptile. Rockin' Reptile, this is Grandaddy. Now play nice, or no chocolate cake for either of you!

Ah yes, we're very generous to all newcomers! Hmm...I sense another party looming over the horizon. I think Hot Rod was the last one we had a party for, and most of us still haven't recovered yet. It'll probably happen sooner or later, in general discussion.

I also would like to thank Azure for throwing that for me. Somehow a party turned into a Soap Opera.

Heh heh heh....and that soap opera's still going on.

The soap has been going on since March 5. Thats amazing.
Actually, it started way before then, on a lonely night in December (the 16th to be exact) when we cloned our first Ninja Turtle.

Welcome Grandaddy Don!
Hope you enjoy your stay, and dont mind the clones, they are absolutely safe.
Yes, I am a Mikey and Splinter fan.
*Looks at previous posts*
Sexy rat?! Ick no! Splinter's my second father, not a love interest!
Tell that to TN! She is obsessed with rat-boy. *shudder* EVIL THOUGHTS! Blah!)

*and then the humble Don/Raph fan raises her voice up above the way-hyper Mikey fans*
Heh.. I asked Laird that once. Like if the TMNT and Splinter were like related to Hobbits (both of which who reeeeeally slow now)
But his reply seems to say that he hadn't really thought much about that. Other than he'd like for Splinter to be around much longer than first intended. *shrug*
I'll just say that Rat King (from City at War) must have possessed simialr healing power the big 'slave' in the Green Mile had. Cuase Splinter seems to keep on ticking like the mouse from that movie.

Maybe it could be explained as a side effect of the mutagen. Radiation does funny things you know, could have slowed the aging process.
azure turtle

Yes, radiation does strange things. Y'know, like turning mutant turtles blue

Mica, your new sig art thingie is SO CUTE!!!!!! *squeal*
Hey, who's talking about bumping off Splinter?! Come here so i can bap you! I would be so sad to lose him, he's what kinda holds the turtles together. Whenever i see a fic where he dies, everything falls apart!
*would hug Splinter Plushie if they had ever made one*
thanks, i made that sig art myself.. another work of art for the Turtle Dance page I'm working on...
*I* was talking about bumping off rat-boy... I think it's about time (is kinda torked that he's still alive in Vol 4, but knows fans would be more torked if he was killed off) He's gotta be getting up there in years, plus the turtles are DEFINATLY gonna outlive him, having longer life spans...
A side effect of radiation.. I could go into my rant about how radiation differs from mutagen.. and the inconsistancies that would result... but I'm tired so I won't *files rant next to 'love' rant*
Anywho, Mica remeber... THIS IS FICTION... I know that... sometimes I wonder if you do.. oh poo on you... You know you're talking to yourself again... TYPING to myself, actually... whatever...
A Splinter Plushie? Hmmm.. sounds like a fun custom to make!
~Mica (I need to find the right sized cuff for the sholder of the custom I'm working on right now... or a decent stiff but moldable flat material... *sai*)

A Cy-what plushie??
Personally, I realize all the ups and downs of parents and the roles Splinter plays. True, it woold be rather desvatating if anyone lost a parent while they are a child or a teenager. They are not ready to live an independent life to kno what to do.
But, by the time many people reach their 20's, they are very capable of living an independent life without a parent figure to tell them what to do. So I agree with Mica in a sense. Splinter pretty much lives on his own in Vol. 4, apart from the Turtles. In fact, he's being more of a parent to Shadow now, who is in her teens.
