I was watching Tron today and I swear I heard Rob's voice. I checked and there's no credit but it was a background voice, like walla so he probably wouldn't have gotten one.

It's in the scene where Flynn breaks the world record for some game, it's around 17-18 minutes into the movie. He says "999,000 points woo hoo!" and some other lines but that one is the clearest. I listened to it 3 times. If it's not him it's someone who sounds exactly like him. He has a pretty distinct voice.

I can't find the scene on Youtube but anyone who has a copy of the film they can watch check it out. Let's see if we can confirm this or not.

I just had to pop in my DVD cause I was curious about this, I will say that voice sounds a LOT like him, but he wasn't listed in the credits that I saw. Although I would say it's certainly possible that he could have been an uncredited extra given that according to his imdb, the time that Tron was filming would've been at the very start of his career. Would be an interesting question to ask him, if anyone gets the chance.

I'm so gonna watch both. Rob's in 1 and Daft Punk (one of my wife's favorite bands) did the music for Legacy. We'll have to see it.

It's a weird movie Jester. Weird to look at and watch. It plays like a regular movie but the visual style is a weird hybrid of Reboot, early silent film, and sci-fi. It's neat to see them go so in depth about programs and networks. This movie was made towards the start of computers so it's interesting to see their take on how it works.

There's also a guy in there called Ram, I wonder.

Yeah he was probably an extra, who don't get credit. They get paid like 200 bucks or so to stand around and make noise in some cases. I knew someone who was in the dance scene in Matrix 2. He said he did the robot the whole time. He also said he was in the first Hulk, I think security guard.

I asked Rob on twitter and here's the quote:
It's me! RT @Jstr4life: @yakkopinky do you remember working in the original Tron flick? I could swear I hear your voice in the arcade scene.

Rocking. We can add it to the list. Wasn't a Space Balls cameo discovered recently too?
