View Full Version : Eric Talbot Commission
has anyone ever got an Eric Talbot commission done?
I heard it's next to impossible to get anything done by him,
and is there any advice as how to get one from him?
or does anyone have any of his turtle art for sale?

If you check out the collection section you will see a few peeps with commissions from him. It isnt terribly difficult to get one done, that its, if he is taking them. My advice would be to check out his blog and shoot him an email. And remember to be polite.

Well, I think those few people got them at conventions. I've never actually gotten a response from him.
Ive tried on numerous occasions and was extremely polite but he never responded. maybe you have to catch him in a good mood on a special day!

I always thought it was easy? I had him do a few for me. chatted on email i think once or twice but was years ago. I'd say just email him, he may or may not respond but doesn't hurt to send an email.
i tried everything, i just don't want to get on his nerves.
and i have never seen any for sale on Ebay. It seems his artwork
is very rare.

Hmm well if he isnt Emailing you back I wouldnt keep pestering him. Least he can do is tell you he not doing any right now. If you are really dying to own so of his art you could always go on comicartfans and see if anyone has anything by him they are willing to sell.
Even if it is listed as Not for sale, try anyway. I have gotten a few deals going by just giving them an offer they cant refuse.

I only mentioned it because gbhq was saying he could not find any eric talbot art on ebay, plus that comics cost $10 with out a sketch.
I hardly call paying a extra $20 for a sketch eric talbot done only 50 of for #30 breaking the bank.
i was actually more interested in the type of tmnt art that he has on his blog - in full color!
