When the guys get thrown into the future.Did they ever explain what happen to April and Casey.Did they die of old age or were they taken out by the Foot?Something I was always wondering.

April and Don Started O'Neil Tech and they became rich and famous. Cody is their great grandson I think.

April and Casey likely died of old age. Cody's parents were killed, I assumed by Darius. He was their grandson if I remember correctly.

The fate of April, Casey was the subject of the episode The Journal. The turtles become tempted to read their journal to find out their friends and their own fates once they return to the present.

If you don't mind knowing the contents of the episode the turtles give in to temptation and find out how everything went bad for each character when they got back to the present in various funny ways. In the end they find out Splinter replaced the diary with one he wrote to teach them a lesson about knowing what will happen to them.

One of the few FF eps that I would recommend to someone who liked the series but not the FF concept.

Well they left in 2005 and arrived in 2105, exactly 100 years later.

I wonder why they never made mention of what happened to the Turtles older selves. Did they also die of old age?

I guess the Turtles won't live to 100 like their Mirage counterparts.

It doesn't make sense, so that means the future should change. Cody disrupted the TMNT's timeline and brought them to his time therefore Cody's present should of changed because the TMNT were taken away and couldn't finish their lives. And now they went back and are changing it again by continuing their current lives and knowing what the future holds. There never was a mention of Cyber Shredder in the future because Viral (from the future) went back in time with the TMNT and also brought Serling (from the future) to the past and altered everything.

Or maybe all of that is supposed to happen to create the future Cody knows were the Turtles really did go missing for a year and Serling and Viral have no real creation. I assume Serling lives up to the point all over again to where he takes care of Cody and that explains him. And now the Turtles are stuck in a repeating thingamajig all because of Cody bringing them to his time where it is all going to repeat over and over again when the TMNT timeline goes back to the future.

You see what I mean. Lol, I just went too far.

The journal explains it. They were only gone for a year their time. What happened was meant to happen. They didn't learn anything dangerous while there. The most that happened was Dons aw what his genius amounted to.

It's almost impossible to do time travel stories without some sort of paradox though.

Yeah but the journal was fake. Back to the Sewer explains it all.

The end of the episode wasn't though. It shows Cody looking at the journal.

But who knows what the real journal says? Now you see the flaw. They only revealed a fake journal and then showed us a real one at the end without telling us it's content.

What would be the point of showing the content of the journal? The turtles were not supposed to know their fate. And showing it to US would not help for future installations or episodes.

The Journal would ensure the fate of the turtles, hence making every danger they face in their lives will be pointless, depending on such fate. It is better if we don't know what happened, unless is some kind of tv special "Whatever happened to the Ninja Turtles?" or something epic.

But everything should have gotten altered and the TMNT are now stuck in a paradox. So the journal has no relevance.

Welcome to time travel.

You can say the same for any time travel movie/tv show ever.

Lol. Yeah, I do. That's why time travel will always be impossible.

Traveling forward isn't really an issue, aside from being near impossible. It's when you go back that all the problems occur. I let most of it slide by right of comic book logic.

In the show though I thought they established they where only gone for a week, which if that is the case things wouldn't have gotten to out of controll. Now if they where gone for a longer period of time I could see there being long term repercutions and the future being based on what happened.

The way I view it though is that had they not gone forward for that week, but stayed where they were, that things would have changed. I belive that the things they learned while gone would then when brought back cause the future to progress in the way it did.

I don't think people are remembering the episode well. There's a real journal and a fake one. The turtles read the fake one.

I wasn't reffering to the Journal episode but in general. We see Don start applying some of the techo know how he learned in the future to start upgrading things in the past. That would lead to him and April making their company eventually.

But everything should have gotten altered and the TMNT are now stuck in a paradox.

If Fast Forward in general and the Journal episode in particular is to be believed then history recorded that the turtles were missing for a year or so and returned.

So them seing sucked into 2105 and what they did on their return was always supposed to happen.

That's why time travel will always be impossible.

Are we talking about real life here? Because most of the worlds top scientists agree that time travel is possible according to the laws of physics. No offence but I'd take the word of Stephen Hawking over yours.

This is why I never try to analyze time travel, it's all confusing and it makes no sense. Why bother trying to figure out a system that has always made things confusing?

Time Travel in fiction usually works in two ways (of course theres exceptions where they use both ugh), what you do in the past affects the future and a paradox is caused the most widely used version e.g. terminator or when you go back in time you create a new timeline which is the most likely true scenario of what would happen in real life time travel e.g. Dragon Ball Z. Fast Forward seems to imply that it uses the latter (Terminator-like) time travel from the journal episode where you see Cody looking at the "Welcome Back".

The alternative timeline is the only logical way to go, but think about when they sent Arnold to the past to protect John Connor, it didn't affect their own reality IN ANY WAY. If we would send someone to make things "right" in the past, that someone would just disappear from our own reality and never come back again and nothing in the present changed.

I hate time travel and fiction about time travel. The only remotely reasonable movie about it is 12 Monkeys. Back to the Future saga is great too but it's "plain" adventure movie.

Another question I have is when April and Casey get married. How did the Fugatoid(sorry for the spelling) or Professor Honeycut come back?I thought the guys sent him off to space when the Triceritons came to Earth.

Ughhh....it's not possible and its not happening.

I was unaware of your phd in quantum mechanics.

I'm no expert on this subject either but if the worlds top scientists think that it's possible I'm smart enough to take their word for it over yours.

How did the Fugatoid(sorry for the spelling) or Professor Honeycut come back?I thought the guys sent him off to space when the Triceritons came to Earth.

Do you mean with him being dead and his lifeless droid body being blasted in to space in the Wrath of Khan homage at the end of the Triceraton Invasion Arc?

If so then Honycutt secretly uploaded a copy of his memory into Earth's satallites. For a few episodes Don started getting calls on his shell cell which were fax noises. Anticipating it happening he had his palm pilot to trace the call and it downloaded Honycutt's consiousness sans a few memories into it. They later built him a makeshift body and he returned to the Utroms at the end of Exodus.
