Yup, i think it aired some days ago, and hikaru fansubs is subbing it, cant wait to see it :) i loved the anime movie and the american series and this is probably going to be the best animated sonic series yet!

Yeah it might be i got it off some guys site. 40 megs so i don't think its fake but it might be. I can't remember the site though.

well its a real video file but when i try to play it with realone player it says it needs to download a new software to play the file but then it says there is no content to support a rv40 file. So its probably fake. :cry:

Is there a possibility that it could come over here? I love Sonic and I used to watch all the old cartoons. I hope it gets over here. I heard Sega was planning on completely revitalizing Sonic for the new generation with a new cartoon, toys, and a couple brand new videogames for Gamecube. I guess this is the cartoon.

Well, i dont know, but i'm almost sure they will either cut something from the sonic anime, or edit the plot, americans do that all the time when it comes to tv anime.
And the music, they always change it, i have no idea why, tho i think it's either because
a) it's in japanese
b) they dont have the rights to it
And i dont see why this sonic anime would be the exception.
On a brighter note this anime will not be so mature, so there probably wont be *THAT* much stuff being cut like in, say, the american version of dragonball z.

*bump* sorry for the double post, but i didnt wanted this to go unnoticed, i just downloaded the first episode, and it's working fine :D dunno what you guys are talking about, im using reaplayer g2 if that helps anyone.
I can convert this to divx if anyone wants, that'd probably work better.

I just saw the first sonic ep :evilgrin: the first part was awesome, because of the action and animation that were both pretty good...then sonic gets warped from the videogame world to the real world and some policemen try to catch him...it's pretty damn bored, then some other guys (im guessing they're policemen too...like a swat team but with f1 cars :P ) try to catch sonic aswell, the chase itself it's pretty good..
I also found interesting that when a song started a screen appeared showing the title and info of the song, havent seen that being in any other anime.
Well i wont tell ya guys if they catched sonic or not because that'd be spoiling and everyone knows spoiling is LAME :) my only complaint is that tails wasnt in the ep for long enugh.

If you cant stand the voice acting then turn it mute, but you definitely shouldnt miss sonic x, i think it's going to be a pretty good anime, even if a bit childish, or at least it seems like it so far.

There is an english dubbed DVD of it look at a video store under animation not anime section and they would have it. Please know that it contains alot of yelling and exploting in it. Voice acting is OK.
Sonic's voice sounds like he's holding his nose
Tail's Voice sounds like he has a cold
Robotnik's Voice he doesn't even sound like a villian at all.

But still OK.

I agree that the Robotnik wasn't to villianis. I think there should of been parts that explain a little pit. I sometimes wounder what would of been like if this did became a series.

In the original he was called blackEggman, if they changed his name to metal robotnik or metal fred or metal whatever in the dub i havent find out since i have no interest in watching it :dead: but i can assure you his original name is blackeggman in the sub.
Let's get some things cleared here, the names are as follow:
Original: Eggman
Dub: Robotnik
Original: BlackEggman
Dub: Metal Robotnik
There was probably more name changes that i am not aware of.
And yeah he wasnt a very good villain, he was just a goofball :P but now that sonic X is out it might not be related to the movie but at least you're still getting a sonic anime series :)

True!Changes are bound to happen when japanese products are brought to america, specially anime, that's why i stick to subs...since this was released on dvd instead of being aired in tv tho i think it suffered minor changes.
