View Full Version : Received Raphael Bust today my final thoughts with my own pics.

Alright I received my Raphael Bust today so I figured I would give everyone my thoughts now that I got to see it in person and provided some new pics. First off I a blown away by this piece it is by far the best one I have owned yet I mean the quality and detail in this piece in person is awesome. As far as likeness to the film goes I would have to say it does have some elements that remind me of movie Raph but overall its not a perfect resemblence by any means but I still think its closer then any of the other heads I owned. Overall I am very happy with it and glad I purchased this bust :-)

That does look pretty awesome. But wow, yet another bust that's gone on sale after a few days of you owning it - you got some crazy fetish man! Ever the first movie perfectionist, huh?

You got got the wrong impression on this sale, I spoke to the the guy I purchased it from about getting the same head made in the rubber instead of Resin so I am selling this head and sending him the funds to make me a new one out of Rubber material so it looks and feels a little more realistic. I plan to get all 4 turtles in the same rubber material. Trust me I love this Raph its incredible and I will keep the Rubber version once I get it.

Cool to hear, I think that that Leo bust will be even better than this one, I love the paint up on this its really really good. This guy is good at what he does :)

I will just add that I think this paint up is possibly better than the other two Raph heads you had, it gives me a little AC Farley vibe to it mixed in with the first movie. I cant wait to see the Leo bust finished I think its going to be amazing!

I just saw your other topic with the pics from the artist I can really see more of his Raphness from the first movie you are a lucky person and should be really proud to own a piece like this. I Think I have seen this guys Freddy masks on youtube before he does a really good VS mask. Really awesome, I am impressed and cant wait to see them all together finished. Must be a really expensive project but super cool none the less.

Thanks man, yeah its spendy but worth it. I will tell you that its hard to appreciate how awesome these busts are until you see them in person. Even my wife was blown away when she saw it and that isnt normal :)
