I've been waiting to find some of these toys for a while now, but I always lose the auction at the last second.

Movie Star Turtles.

I found a set of 4, Leo, Don, Raph, Mikey, the set for $9.95. With 2 days I didn't think I would win, not that I wasn't hopeful. I waited on the page for an hour today, clicking refresh like someone playing a first person shooter, Half-Life style, snoogans. Final seconds came, felt that I was gonna lose...Then, after 2 seconds, the auction ended, BAM, I won. Total you ask? $17.45. MOC by the way.

The BUY IT NOW price was $59.99 not counting S&H, and no one bid on the figures, so the price only went up with the S&H.

I kept asking why no one bid on them, then I noticed: The topic line/panel thing said "Antiques/60's-50's/Superman"

No wonder.

Sorry, just felt like braging. Whoohoo for me.

He has pretty good feedback, aside from 3 or 4 negatives about items not being "right" but the people who complained had really bad feedback.

ouch that might be a problem...he might send you the superman stuff instead if he has stuff saying wrong items...

Congratulations Brodie! Don't you just love finds like that? My best one was a MOC NM Splinter for $1.00, but I'm jealous...I don't have any of the movie star turtles! Great buy!

It's great when people screw up their listing on ebay.

Now the real question: Get them out of their personal hell of a box, and set them up with my other figures, or keep them in the box.

..keep them in the box. If you take them out you will regret it..I promise..heh.

I'd rather have them on the shelves with the new toys, slightly next to each other, comparison. I hate boxed toys. I think I'll keep 2 in the box, and open them when I'm jonsin' for a new-toy-fix.

Sounds like a great plan! Personally I'm not big on boxed toys either. they take too much space.

What's the point of keeping them in the box? That defeats the purpose of getting them, you should display them somewhere. You don't want someone else's dirty box in your room...

My 'rents sent out the money order, should be getting the toys soon. It's great to have parents on Zoloft.
