Ok, I was just going through the boxes I have of the older Archie Turtles comics and some Mirage ones I had in boxes. I had to put all new bags and backings on them. I was just wondering, I don't want to put them back inbig boxes. How do you all store your Turtles comics. I would love to store them by volumes but I wanna know the easiest way.

Well, I store my comics in boxes. I'm not quite sure how you would store them if not in boxes. I've got all my comics in two long comic book boxes and three short comic book boxes. It's quite the leaning tower.

I store my comics in plastic covers, with cardboard backing. I like the cardboard because it prevents the comics from getting bent or folded. I've been storing everything in boxes, too.

I sort each of my TMNTs into comic bags by volume, with miscellaneous issues(crossovers, specials, Tales, etc.)going into another bag. All the issues get put into a box so I can just flip em around if I need to find one for reference or whatever. Actually, I've been sorting all the comic titles I'm really into currently that way, including Stray Bullets. Stray Bullets is an awesome title :) (/mini-plug)
Most of em are backed and in bags, but the ones I read alot are out loose. Naturally, the current V4 run is all out :P

On my shelf. Between the Marvel TPBs and the DC ones stands the Collected Books, followed by some single issues.

Currently, they are all in a storage bin.
I have them seperated by Volume/Publisher
Each in a rubbermaid container.
Most are in plastic sleeves with or without cardboard backers.
Some are stored in a 5" binder inside of document protectors.

I have all my issues bagged and boarded. Except for fugitoid, I don't have a bag for that size...

They make bags and back boards for magazines. Thats what i used for issues 1-4 and also fugitoid.
I store them in my bookcase (with doors) in bags, and boards

Yep.. that's how I store mine too. After putting them in bags with the backboards. The boxes are then kept in a dark closet too.
The ones I have yet to bag are stacked flat on a shelf, out of the sunlight.
Sunlight, cig smoke, and high humidity are bad for comics, I had heard. Must aviod those if you are big about comic book preservation. :D

All of mine are in plastic covers with cardboard backing. Then they are stored in an old english riding helmet box.

An old english riding helmet box...? Damn... and I threw mine out, only to later spend good money on those comic book boxes!
At the moment, my comics are packed away in a box under my bed. This is because at one point I thought I'd be moving, but I didn't, and haven't bothered to unpack them.
I used to store them in fundraiser candy boxes. You know, big white ones school kids drag around selling candy bars? I found out that those fit regular comics perfectly, though the oversized issues had to go somewhere else. There're all bagged but less than half are boarded.

I keep mine on the second shelf of a huge bookcase in my room. I have my Mirage collection on the right hand side and the Archie collection in the middle right next to a small book bag I have of some TMNT storybooks I've kept.

I knew that some people would get a kick out of my way of recycling an old box and putting my comics in there. :trazz: :P
