I was wondering if anyone on here has / have had an iphone , and if so what are / were your favorite apps ?

I have an iphone 4 & Mine are

Balance - basically an electronic checkbook , you just type in your deposits and withdrawls and it adds/deducts it from your balance.

Tango - video calls on 3G , Facetime is the best for video calling but if you want to do it over 3G tango's the best i've used. ( Skype has an app that does video now but i've never used it )

Ebay/Paypal - i've bought , listed and sold on ebay all from my phone. it's wonderful. the only thing i couldn't do was add shipping information when i sold/shipped something , but ebay just did an update for it and i used it last week. works great.

netflix - streams super fast over 3G , basically instantly over wi-fi. it's great for long car rides , waiting at the doctor , ect.

Sportstacular - sends my scores to Orlando Magic , WVU games at the end of every quarter / half. awesome when i can't watch the games.

& I'm not huge on iphone games , i've games my whole life with buttons so a toch screen just isn't comfortable.

that being said there are a few games i enjoy ,

words with friends ( scrabble with your friends over 3g/wifi )

scramble ( basically you have 9 or somixed up letters and you make as many words as possible in the time limit )

Archetype ( an online Firsr Person Shooter that i've played a few times with my friends , it's hard to aim , but melee is fun and easy. lol )

Gravity Runner - probally my favorite game. I've beaten every level , your character is constanly running , you tap the screen once to jump and twice to switch gravity. so you're constantly jumping over/avoiding spikes , gaps and it's very addicting and simple to play.

I just got my iPhone recently and don't have a ton of apps, but my favorites would be...
Instagram: It's good for messing around with photos.
Flixster: Lists the theatres in your area and gives you the movies and their showtimes.
Surviving HS: Role-playing game I had on my old phone.
QuickTip: Pretty self-explanatory. I'm horrible with figuring out how much to leave for tips lol.
Go Try It On: Clothing app
IMDb: Self-explanatory
SoundHoud: I use this all the time when I want to know the name and artist of a song.

I don't have an iphone, but I do have an ipod touch. I gots:

Tales of the TMNT (vol 2) issues 1-12
Alan Moore: The Complete Future Shocks (2000AD)
HP Lovecraft: Collected Stories
HG Wells Collection
And some more random books

Hmm, seems that all my apps are reading material! I did have some games, but got shot of em to make way for more music...

Here are (a few of) my favs:

TuneIn Radio: This has become my default radio app. You can listen to nearly any station in the world and it has them categorized by location, language, and genre.

MLB At Bat '11: This is the most expensive app I've ever bought. I got last year's and ended up using it CONSTANTLY to listen to baseball games. Last year I hesitated at spending the money, but this year there was no hesitation. The price won't drop until the playoffs, though, so get it now and get your money's worth.

Key Ring: This app stores all of your frequent shopper cards that it seems like every store has now. Instead of carrying all those cards, just load the app and have the cashier zap the screen! It can also hold any other kind of card with a barcode, such as library cards.

Waze: Free turn-by-turn GPS navigation. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. It also has a social element, so users can alert other users of accidents, traffic jams, and police sightings.

Angry Birds: Gah, I love this game. Get all the different versions they have.

Bay Area Earthquakes Lite: Necessary if you live where the earth shakes. Even though the name is "Bay Area," it'll show you any quakes anywhere you move the map to. The default view is the Bay Area, though.

Instagram: Yet another means for me to spam my friends with pictures of my rabbit. ^_^

Half Tone: This is a new one I just got - It takes your pictures and gives them a old school comic book look.

Notifo: You can use this app to get notified of a whole bunch of different things, but (IMO) the most useful use of this is to set up Twitter notifications. You can have every tweet a user tweets sent to you, or any tweets that mention or reply to you (although the official Twitter app has now started to do this, so it's not as important anymore). For example, I get all of Conan O'Brien's tweets sent to me. He only tweets once a day - I don't recommend doing this with someone who tweets a lot. :trazz:
