I am looking to get a new tattoo, ninja turtle related. I have some ideas, but nothing that is really calling out to me.
Any suggestions?

What appeals to you most about the Turtles?? Who is your favorite character? Hero? Villain? Artist? Do you prefer the films, comics, TV shows??
Narrow it down a little for us :twink:

If nothing is calling out to you, it's probably not the right time.
A tattoo should always be a love at first sight kinda decision rather than just picking something for the sake of it.

It's not that I am going to go out and get one just to get one. I am starting the thought process about what I want to get. Nothing that I have seen since I started looking has inspired me.
Mikey is my fav. turtle, I like Casey Jones, April and the other turtles. But I also like the villains and have been kinda leaning that way.

Well another thing you should take into account is what your favorite TMNT universe is.

The best thing to do would be have a chat to your tattoo artist , thats what he/she is paid to do, take some artwork , an idea and book some time with them to work out your design .Have you thought of size ? placement ? cost ?
But honestly don`t go in with nothing and say you want a turtle tat without any idea of what you want the finished tat to look like , the artist vision of what you should have might be nothing like what you planned and its a total pain to redraw .

funny you mention that, I joked with my wife about getting Krang tattooed on the back of my head; so that when I am old, wrinkly, and bald it would look just like him :tlol:

Krang on your Belly. :twink:
when you have a idea I could sketch you something up, seeing I have done my fair share of tattoo sketches/stencils over the past 4 years, and doing a TMNT piece would be a blast to do!:tgrin:

I'd love someone to get a Foot Symbol on their shoulder and a Purple Dragon down the other arm...:P

Question:
I found out that the new baby arriving Aug 29th is going to be a girl. One of the tattoos I was going to get was a turtle to represent each child. since each of my kids has their own favorite.
The question is, should I get the last turtle as is, or should I have the artist make it a female turtle (btw i don't mean venus)?
