That's right. Konami's new TMNT game is curently scheduled to be on the show floor at the Electronic Entertainment Expo next month. That probably means that it'll be playable. And that probably also means that there'll be a whole bunch of news coming out of it, so we should finally have a sense of what this game is going to be like.

P.S xbox owners have to wait a very long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I belive that only PS2 and GC versions will be at E3.. It was said that PS" version is released first, and then PC and GC ports. I own both consoles and a Powerfull PC, So Im not sure yet wich version to buy..

As far as gameplay is concerned MGS2 is even better than the first part. The problem of MGS2 is that it totally destroys the story of the first game.

I haven't played MGS 2 yet, I heard it is beter than the first when you actually get to PLAY. I heard that over half of the play time goes to those cut scenes and radio discussions.

Yeah, that's true. Before the final boss-battle starts there is a Codec-talk about 15 minutes (no joke)!!! The cut-scenes are pretty cool though.

No, a Metal Gear Solid game is coming out for Gamecube, but it's not Metal Gear Solid 3. The Nintendo game's rumored title is Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. This info came from a rather unreliable source though, so I woulnd't believe it. What IS confirmed thought is that Metal Gear Solid 3 is coimng out for PS2 and possibliy XBox.

So, we have a Metal Gear title on Gamecube (NOT Metal Gear Solid 3)
And on PS2 and XBox we have Metal Gear Solid 3.

Beaker you rock! How in the world did you get a chance to get into E3?? I've tried for the past 2 years but I'm always told it's only game journalists and the like that get in. On another note I thought mgs2 was an OK game. I only played till the oil rig, or whatever it was, cause I couldn't stand the cut scenes. It does have very good gameplay though. It doesn't bother me what system this new game comes out for. I have all 3 systems. If it's true that it won't be out for X-Box I'll pick it up for GCN. Better graphics than Sony and I won't have to wait 3 years for it to load.

Yeah, but Snake's Revenge isn't considered to be a real Metal Gear game because it was developed without Hideo Kojima. So you can't really count it.

Hello all. I've finally registered after months of lurking. I am a really big fan of the ninja turtles and I think this is the best forum on the web for discussing them.

Just to clear up some stuff. TMNT is for GCN, PS2, GBA, Xbox, and PC. Will be released in October for all systems. Also, the new GMR mag that you can only get at EB supposedly has screens and info on the new TMNT game! :o Here's some of the features that have been listed:

Cel shading
co-op play - XBOX/GCN/GBA has 4 players at same time, PS2 only 2 players
6 levels, 35 stages
Tag team attacks available
Versus mode

Now onto some other things.

MGS:Twin Snakes - remake of MGS1 using the MGS2 engine and all the moves that you could do in MGS2. Developed by Silicon Knights which is a Nintendo fully owned development studio, so it will be exclusive for the GCN. But don't worry, Kojima and Miyamoto are handling the supervision of this project themselves. Nintendo is doing everything and then they will give it back to Konami to publish. No cost to Konami. They get all the profits! Also, if they are taking the time to set up the MGS2 engine on the GCN, then it's more than likely that we'll see a port of MGS2 on the GCN as well. Also, MGS3 looks like it's going to be on GCN as well, if you believe what the industry insiders are saying.

MGS3 - confirmed to be shown at E3. Kojima has said this in an official interview a few days ago. No mention of PS2 exclusivity this time, but I am sure they will get it first.

My friend Chris, who is the HUGE Animation fan, loves Comics etc and that includes the New TMNT got excited when he hear there was new TMNT games coming out, I didn't know what systems they were going to be on at the time, so I didn't tell him it wasn't going to be on X-Box. This guy spent his hard earned money on buying an X-Box to have superman, buffy the vampire slayer and thinking he could get TMNT.... now if they don't release it for that system I'll feel really bad for him he can't afford every game system, especially just for one game.

I just picked up the new GMR and sure enough there is three pics in there. Before you guys ask, I sadly don't have a scanner to post the pics, but let me say, WOW!!! :o

Also, I know that Konami has never mentioned the XBOX version, but, I believe EBgames when they say it is coming. So far, EB has broken more upcoming game announcements that have panned out than any other source. For example:

- They announced the full title for the MGS GCN weeks before it was announced;

- They announced Dynasty Warriors 4 for the Xbox and the expansion pack exclusively for the PS2;

- They announced Ikaruga for the GCN months before anyone said it was coming over;

There is much more that they have blown the lid off, so I generally trust them. Besides, why wouldn't it appear on the XBOX? I know that Konami is not supporting the XBOX any longer, that's why they said no Silent Hill 3 and probably no MGS3, but seeing that XBOX has better sales for multiplatform titles than my beloved Gamecube, it really is a no-brainer.

First, GMR("GaMeR") is a magazine exclusively made by Electronics Boutique.

Okay for the pics:

1st pic - Console version pic showing Raphael in the sewers fighting against seven mousers and currently has a 10-hit combo going on

2nd pic - GBA pic showing Raph again doing a Street Fighter Flaming Dragon punch move on what looks like a purple dragon character. There is a life meter in the upper right corner for the Purple Dragon that is getting hit.

3rd pic - console version pic showing Raph and Mikey beating up on a foot soldier

Just imagine that they took ripped the characters and anime style of the new cartoon and put it in the game. Raph, Mike, Mousers, and the Foot Soldier look exactly like the new cartoon!

PC always gets the games last if they already planned it going on a console. If it was originally going to be a PC game but then they change it to suit console owners, then the consoles will get them last...well maybe not PS2 who rushes all of the games and makes terrible quality...

Dude, just get a USB hub and a TV out cable. I watch all the movies and play all the games I download on my TV. It rocks. I've played through the TMN arcade games, fighting games and also had it out in Fatal Fury and KOF series with friends on the big screen. Good stuff.

I have TV-out, but it's not the same thing, noteven close. Have you ever tried to play PC games with TV-out? Because of the resolution limits of TV, The graphics do not look better.

If you're serious about gaming, you will buy gamecube and play with big TV, great sound and graphics on your couch with your friends. Nothing beats that. Games like TMNT I could never play on PC, of course games like Wolfenstein or Jedi Knight 2 I could never play with consoles.
