Since there was a thread like this for the movie I decided to make one for the new toon.

There should be an option for "Nothing, let's have something new".

With all the stories to just retale...I wonder if they will try to do something original.

I chose Archie, only because I'd like to see some of the stories adapted.

The original toyline and the Konami videogames.

EVERYTHING.

They can use any character or storyline they want from TMNT's 25 year history. There is no Peter Laird this time holding them back.

Why not an option saying a little bit of everything?

Mirage...yeah. But I'd like something new, too.

As you say "Which cartoon should it take most influence to?" It makes me think what the OT took most influence from, from the list, and how it managed to be so amazing and bring in new fans.

I voted for the Mirage comics. Although I haven't read said comics, I liked how 2K3 handled some of the adaptations (Shredder Strikes Back). So, that's my vote.

A little bit of everything, mixed in with a huge dollop of originality! If that's even possible...

I voted for Mirage though I would rather like to something new but mix elements from various universes so fans can be pleased.

Well I'm hoping Nick's TMNT is going to be influenced by:
- 50% of the 2k3 series (especially the first 4 seasons)
- 30% of the Mirage comics
- 15% of the 2007 CGI movie (yeah, I loved it)
- 5% of the 80s series (just because I think I owe that series my fondness of TMNT in general but I cannot say I would enjoy it today).

A little bit of everything would be nice. I went ahead and chose "movies" since I liked the first movie's mix of Mirage and OT.

I voted for the Archie comics because that series had a lot of good stories!

I would like to mainly see a mix of Archie and Mirage, with a light amount of elements and characters from the two previous TMNT toons and the movies. And add a dash of Mikey's character development from the Image series.

Guys it can't be off the Mirage comics. What do you think 2K3 was? The Nick toon is not going to be like 2K3 and have the same stories. They are going to try do something different and that doesn't just mean CGI. It's going to to be like what Transformers has done each time its re-invented itself, however not as drastic as that because they had all new designs and character models.

Like what everyone said it will be a little bit of everything. Hopefully it will take the best aspects of what made each show special and work with that.

I think Nick should take elements from the different mediums.
The OT
Archie
Mirage
There are so many supporting characters that could be revised and updated,it mind numbing.

I want to see some more Mirage stuff that didn't get adapted in the 2k3. But also I would love to see them do some original stuff, add to the rogues gallary.

I have to say Mirage. That's my favourite incarnation of the Turtles, but I would love an all new thing as long as it's good.

No point in limiting themselves to just one thing but if I had to pick it'd be Mirage. It's the most pure incarnation of the turtles. Archie would work very well as a cartoon but realistically I don't see anyone caring enough to go back and look at it. It really showed the OT in a more mature light.

Something new would be nice but I have a bigger fear they would screw it up. Sometimes too much new isn't a good thing. If it's completely different from everything we previously know you might as well not even bother calling it Ninja Turtles.
