Hey all! Long time no post on my part. Sorry things have been busy in my crazy line of work... lots of reality TV... not what I want to be doing, but bills need to be paid.
There is a very specific purpose for this thread, and I hope I can come back to this as often as possible. The documentary is deep into post production, there still isn't much I can tell you about the end result and or distribution, however I want to get the fans back in the fold, and reach out to you guys for support, ideas, input, and research help. You can also use this thread to suggest input, ideas for the doc, feedback and so on. I also hope we can bring you a new site with all new materials and information asap... no promises, only hopes! hahaha
First question for the thread:
I need episode names from the 2K3 season. I have all the DVDs, and watched all of them, I even made a list, but can't find it hahaha. I just don't want to dig through all of them again, as I don't remember where all the things I need are, so you can see how I will likely come back with more questions like this as I work. To start with I need the episodes that include the following:
- The first time we see the Shredder in all his glory mid season one.
- The first time we see the Shredder is an Utrom.
- When Shredders head gets cut off.
- When Mike tries to saw Cawabunga and gets pushed down the manhole.
- Good moments when Mike does the woman scream.
- Good Raph/Mike banter.
- The episode when the Utrom in the background is called Krang.
- The episode where April poses as a news reporter. (if I remember this is the same as the last one... might be wrong).
- Any and all suggested episodes that are direct pulls from the comics, and which book they are from.
I think that is all for now.
Thanks for your continued help and support guys! You all rock!

I'm really happy this is starting to come together!
- The first time we see the Shredder in all his glory mid season one.
The Shredder Strikes Part 1 (I think)
- The first time we see the Shredder is an Utrom.
Secret Origins Part 3 (hinted at in the previous two episodes)
- When Shredders head gets cut off.
Return to New York Part 3
- When Mike tries to say Cowabunga and gets pushed down the manhole.
Things Change (I think, need to check it out)
EDIT: Yup, but it wasn't a manhole, it was simply a subterranean hole that Raph shoved him into.
- Good moments when Mike does the woman scream.
Hmm... I know this happened sometime in the Notes from the Underground 3-episode arc
- Good Raph/Mike banter.
????
You mean like friendly, antagonistic, or teasing?
I just watched "Cousin Sid" and they have some funny moments at each other's expense.
- The episode when the Utrom in the background is called Krang.
Secret Origins Part 3
- The episode where April poses as a news reporter. (if I remember this is the same as the last one... might be wrong).
Secret Origins Part 3
- Any and all suggested episodes that are direct pulls from the comics, and which book they are from.
I think there's a thread for this. I just can't remember where.

DrSpengler's post (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showpost.php?p=554666&postcount=4) is especially helpful, as usual!
- The first time we see the Shredder in all his glory mid season one.
"The Shredder Strikes" Part One
Unless you wanna count the brief glimpse of him we got at the tail-end of the previous ep.
- The first time we see the Shredder is an Utrom.
- The episode when the Utrom in the background is called Krang.
- The episode where April poses as a news reporter. (if I remember this is the same as the last one... might be wrong).
"Secret Origins" Part Three
The Utrom, Ch'Rell, was seen in Part One, but he wasn't shown to be The Shredder until Three.
- When Shredders head gets cut off.
"Return to New York" Part Three

You definitely have my support sir. Although unfortunately I only get onto this site on occasion, I've heard about you since my last channel on youtube, when I got the word out as much as possible about the new doc. I'll definitely get more word in May when I talk about the turtles on my youtube channel all month long.
As for input, what I would like to see, and etc...here's a few things from the top of my head:
- I remember Judith Hoag had mentioned that there were perhaps either more scenes, more moments, or something a little more to the friendship between her and Raphael (moments of dialogue perhaps, or something like that) and I would like to hear more about that.
- The missing scenes from the first film, for instance Michelangelo being angry (April drew everyone in the first film except for Mikey, and it was Mikey standing on the roof of the barn at night yelling Splinter but they put in Raphael's voice, cause you can see the nunchucks on his belt), it would be nice to hear why that was changed/cut out and etc. along with the missing training sequence, and etc.
- There was at one point a movie that was to be made for the Hallmark channel, like a mini-series or something from what I believe was Steve Barron who was going to do it. Was there ever any ideas/proposals/ or anything to that effect?
- The proposed 4th movies in the past, like the drawings of the Kirby character in the 'Artobiography' art book of the turtles, or the time that John Woo was going to produce a CGI Ninja Turtles movie (it was nice to hear that John Woo seemed to be a fan of the turtles), did he have any ideas on what he wanted to do with them?
- An interesting thing would be how certain fans have certain particular ideas of how the turtles should be portrayed, some look at them as their cartoonish selves, some imagine a hardcore, R-rated spectacular, others imagine the characters as very deep and three dimensional with their own fears and worries, while others see them as just fun entertainment and nothing else. Basically it shows that these characters are not limited, and can go into seemingly countless directions
- You can't have the good without the bad things, so I think it would be interesting to find out how the whole 'Next Mutation/Venus' was created and the aftermath and such, as well as how the idea of the 'Coming out of their shells' Tour came to be
- Hopefully it would be nice to hear from Robbie Rist (of course the voice of Michelangelo from the live action films), many of us loved his voice extremely, and I always felt he was the best Michelangelo out there, just pitch perfect.
- Also, how did Raphael get that Brooklyn accent?
- The different ideas for Ninja Turtles 2 (for example, how Bebop and Rocksteady was apparently nixed for Tokka & Rahzar? or to that kind of effect, or if there were any ideas there were toying with for the sequel to such a massive hit like the first one).
- It would be nice to get an answer as to WHY we got those suits for Ninja Turtles 3, since Ninja Turtles 2 was still a pretty big hit
- It'd be nice to hear from the writers of the 2003 cartoon, or voice actors or whoever, particularly on that 'Same as it Never Was' and how kinda tough it is for a quote 'Saturday morning cartoon'
- It'd be nice to hear about how the Red Sky episodes came to be, were they influenced by the live action movie? how did that change come to be, and etc.
Just a few off the top of my head, sorry about that.
As for the questions you had, well It looks like others have already posted a few answers, so I'll try my best to post the rest as best as I can.
- Good moments when Mike does the woman scream.
"Turtles in Space, Part 2: The Trouble with Triceratons" has a good one where Mikey is pushing buttons on a ship, and accidentally disengages, seperating him from his brothers, thus the girlish scream.
- Good Raph/Mike banter.
*Things Change - there's a few of them in that episode, like when Raph is about to say give me a hand, Mikey is about to clap, and Raph goes 'don't even think about it' or when Michelangelo is about to say cowabunga and is pushed down into a hole by Raph.
*"Attack of the Mousers" from season 1, when Mikey is listening to headphones and Raph says stuff like 'you keep talking like that, and she'll faint again' or something to that effect.
*Fly Me to the Moon from Season 7 (Fast Forward), when Mikey makes a fake Raphael puppet to make fun of Raph and tease him throughout the episode
*The Shredder Strikes Part 2 (not sure if this one would count, cause it's Mikey pretending he's hurt, faking Raph into being sincere, then Mikey laughing at him while Raph is ready to lunge at him)
*Reflections (from Season 2) - at the end of the episode, after telling stories around campfire, Raph gets a marshmallow thrown at him by Mikey and Raph lunges at Mikey.
- Any and all suggested episodes that are direct pulls from the comics, and which book they are from.)
*The Christmas Aliens from season 3, pulled I think from the stand alone Michelangelo comic book from the original Mirage comics.
*Meet Casey Jones (Season 1) - touched on from the Raphael stand-alone from first volume of the comic, with the whole 'Raphael almost hitting Mikey in the head with a pipe, meeting Casey, etc.'
*The 2nd & 3rd episode of Season 1 (better mousetrap & attack of the mousers) take on I believe Issue 2 of the original comic (with the turtles saving April and dealing with Baxter Stockman)
*The King from Season 1 of the show dealt with the comic Donatello #1 from Mirage, with Donny basically meeting Eastman & Laird's ode to Jack Kirby, with Donny wearing that gauntlet on his arm and such
*The first 4 episodes of Season 2, the Turtles in Space ones, have lots of nods to the Issues 5, 6, and 7 of the first volume, including the Turtles in the space bar ala the Cantina scene in Star Wars
*Time Travails of Season 3 has touches of the issue with Cerebus (Issue 8) with the introduction of Renet
*Season 4 has Sons of the Silent Age, which is based on a Volume 1 comic that has the same title
*Return to New York Part 2 (from Season 1) - there are comics also called Return to New York from Volume 1, I just remember specifically the 3 shredders (one small, one big, etc.) that was on the cover for 'Return to New York Book 3'
*Season 4 there was The People's Choice, and there was a comic also called People's Choice which was Issue 13 in Volume 1 of the comics
*Season 3 in the episode H.A.T.E. you had some of the turtles coming up against Survivalists, a lot like Issue 12 of Volume 1 which was also about fighting Survivalists in the woods.
*And of course the City of War episodes, based on the City of War comics
That's a few I could think of at the top of my head (basically been researching since for my birthday in May, I'm going to try to go in depth with the turtles on my youtube channel, reviewing as much as possible all month long on these characters).
