I just found out that at lease a few other people on here are fellow WP7 owners and figured why not start a thread for all things WP7.
What do you like/dislike about your phone? What cool apps are you using? Did you get the NoDo update yet? Anything WP7 related is up for discussion.
I have a Samsung Focus and I love it. I'm diggin' the new ESPN app that was just released.

I have the HTC Surround and I love it, I mostly spend my time with XBL games Fruit Ninja and Burn it All have been my favorites so far. Don't have many apps on it but I love the Netflix app.
Whats Nodo?

Nodo is the update that had been coming since January that adds copy/paste, better app performance and a few other things. It is just now getting rolled out to the majority of users but some people have had it for awhile.

I've had my phone pretty much since it dropped and I love it. It's a phone, so...whatever with that. It works. I can make/receive calls and text messages, which doesn't seem to be enough for a lot of people. I could care less about the worthless apps.
However, I love the XBL features built into it and I love being able to get achievements in games on the thing. I've wasted a sh*t load of hours on a bunch, but Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night is probably my favourite. iBlast Moki, Parachute Panic and Revolution are also decent time wasters and I'm a little ashamed to say I own both Star Wars games, with Cantina being the one I spent the most time on. Really disappointed that Katamari turned out so sh*tty thanks to the awful accelerometer controls.
Also, I like to check out my Live friends list when I get a chance. I can usually spot when some of my friends have woken up and what some others have been doing when they don't go to work or are "too sick" to do anything.

Yeah the XBL integration is real nice. I'm a big Fable fan so I am glad to see that the the Fable Golf WP7 game ties into your actual Fable Xbox game. I can see alot of other cool WP7 / Xbox game tie ins like that happening in the future.
I think I've probably logged more time on bejeweled and fruit ninja than anything...

Me! I have Windows Phone 7. Samsung.
How do I block a number in my Windows Phone? That's one thing I can't figure out, and it's a feature I've enjoyed for at least a couple generations of phones now.

I can't figure it out either, which probably means it's not possible yet. If there's one thing lacking in WP7 devices it's little things like that. How is it possible to release a phone without the ability to have custom ringtones at this point? I just want a regular ring for calls, but all I can use are weird beats and jingles.

It's supposed to be "on the way", but who the hell knows? It could never happen.
This isn't entirely related, but I want this to be my ringtone so bad.

You're openly insulting everything that songs stands for, my friend. You neither walk straight, nor be straight!

As far as blocking numbers there is nothing that I am aware of at this point either. Maybe there will be an app down the road.
The "no custom ringtones" and the camera settings resetting everytime are the only things that really bug me about WP7. Someone did figure out how to do custom ringtones, but it required a jailbreak.
EDIT: Here (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/forum/wp7-wptips/call-blocking-in-wp7/53c0c482-28ed-488b-b3bb-6c00905203e2) is a link to an MS answers article about number blocking. They say it's not possible but there are some apps that might help. They don't mention what ones though.

Also, no way to turn ringer off but leave alarm on. And I can't alter the "snooze" settings" beyond the default 5 minutes. Lame.

Hey all you Focus owners, the NODO update just went live, I'm downloading and installing it now. So far no troubles. I'll post an update when it's done.

How come my phone says "No Updates Found" every time I check in Settings? Or do I need to hook it up to my computer and do the Zune nonsense?

I hooked mine up and checked for an update through zune. I don't know what your settings are, but your phone might be set to check for updates only when it is on wifi and not 3g. Also, I don't know if the phone actually checks for updates at intervals or if microsoft (or the carriers) push a notification to the phone.
My update just finished with no problems, took about 30 minutes total to do the Feb and March updates. Now to play.

Hm... well, I'll try that when I get home. In the mean time, please post your findings, and of any updated features you can see.

I was able to download both the February and March updates (separately, it made me). The March update was problematic... it kept failing, telling me "Unable to make backup" and kicking me out. Upon further research online I saw that you're not supposed to use USB hubs or the USB front ports of a computer; you're supposed to use the back ones. I did so and had no problem.
Messing around with phone, I don't see anything different, just the cut and paste thing.

Well here are my thoughts so far:
Copy and paste works great. Very smooth and feels like an original part of the phone functionality.
I have noticed some of the increased performance when loading apps up. I haven't been able to test it next to a non updated phone, but it seems like some apps load 1-2 seconds faster. Doesn't seem like alot but it is noticeable.
There are 2 AT&T exclusive features, both of which seem pretty pointless but whatever. The first is att address book which lets you sync your contacts to att's servers. I guess helpful if you are moving to an att phone that is not a windows phone but otherwise pointless in my eyes. The other is support for att wifi hotspots. Woo-hoo.
Marketplace search is a bit better, now you can go into individual categories and press the search button (i.e go to music, press search and only music results are returned as opposed to results from the whole marketplace.)
I think thats about it.

I ran into that problem when I first got my zune. I had my phone plugged in to the front port of my work pc and it worked fine, but it's a powerhouse :)
I'm glad it worked for you.

Yay triple post!
Just saw this, looks pretty cool. Gives you the ability to set custom ringtones and a bunch of other stuff. You need a registered or unlocked phone for it to work though.
