dory's Custom TMNT figures

[dory]

I realised that you can't edit thread titles on this forum, so i decided to start a newer more generic thread for all my tmnt customs.

first up was a repaint of Rocksteady

..and continuing the series, here's "a gray wolf"

repainted tmnt rahzar figure.
since he was originally intended to be a gray wolf, I repainted him accordingly with some added touches. sculpted him an eye patch on him too.

[The Fifth Turtle]

Paint skill are out of this world as usual. Cant wait to see the rest!~

[Powder]

Quite true, you're super ill with the paint dude. Here's hopin' we see this bad boy soon!

[oldmanwinters]

Wow, this looking really nice!

[Wes]

I don't know what's more impressive about the others -- the sculpting or the paint! Both are really, really smexy. :)

Loving how Pizza Face is turning out, too.

[Jester]

Pizza FACE (got it right this time) looks sick...in more ways than one.

[Loco]

wow Pizza face's so Sick. Love it.

[Eiko]

Wow that is really neat.

[TheCanadiandrome]

Pizza Face is lookin good

[dory]

here's pizzaface in all his repainted and reworked glory. this guy took a little longer than expected, i think mostly because of all the intricate details sculpted onto it. kudos to Dave Arshawsky i believe for sculpting such a great piece all those years back. I've been fortunate enough to have been asked to participate in a local group show this june, and have chosen to do up a series of repainted/reworked tmnt figures, so do expect a few more tmnt figures from me yet!

Awesome!!!! :tgrin::tcool::tcool::tcool::tcool: Great work!!!

Anyway ....my prefer still being your Rocksteady!! :D:trazz:

[Jurassic]

Truly awesome work!!

[psychoandy]

Gorgeous work, man. And your photography skills totally put mine to shame, too!

[Weapon X]

That is vile, sickening, and gross.

I love it!!!!

The detail the paint job brings out is amazing.

Great work on the "Shrunken Head" too.

[koenne]

Damn!!! that's really nicely done! Keep them coming!
Cowabunga!

[Powder]

Too sick for life! He looks amazing, dude. I cannot wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!

[dory]

thanks guys,

working on these tmnt figures has been a really fun experience. theres just so much hidden detail that goes unnoticed due to the paint jobs. definitely looking forward to doing more. and do hope more of you guys jump on the tmnt repaint bandwagon!

[Jester]

Holy crap, that is great. I almost wish Playmates had taken that much car in the paint aps....but then the figures would be $30.

[909 Turtle Fan]

awesome work!

[Jurassic]

Just amazing paint work!!

I have to ask are you air brushing or using brushes?

[Cowabunga Carl]

Wowzer. You do amazing work. Fantastic. I can't wait to see what else you have planed.

[dory]

thanks everyone!

Jurassic: i'm currently using regular brushes to paint up these figures. would love to try on an air brush someday though

[PizzaPower]

wow, i love pizzaface!

[The Fifth Turtle]

You should do Muckman next. The details in his scult will keep you busy for a while.

[TurtlePower1001]

excellent job, i especially like the paint job on the pants, is the the regular action figure or the giant size rocksteady?

[mysterycolor]

wow- they all look great dude! I cannot get enough of that Rocksteady custom- beyond cool :)

[Ulisses31]

Amazing sculpting skills

[dory]

thanks for all the kind words guys.

[shuriken]

That Pizza Face is disgusting. IT'S awesome.

[dory]

thanks fellas,

Powder: yes i do believe that the rifle came from a ml punisher, the one that came in the 4 pack a really long time ago.
