How many people think that it would of been fun to see the new TMNT figures get a variant treatment?...I mean the figures are pretty accessible right now....sooooo what is there left to get?...I mean the wait between the waves is quite some time...so why not produce each turtle with a black bandana or something...and have them short packed...like 1 every 4 cases or something...(yeah I know what does black bandana TMNT have anything to do with the show or origin?)...yeah but still it would be pretty fun to try to collect each one....or a shredder in his older garments/gi that would be pretty cool...finally maybe instead of the black bandana TMNT....how about each one of the turtles has a red bandana mirage varient....(a darker red so the Raph even looks different..) then you could have a line-up that would remind you of the original look of the TMNT...anyway just an idea...lol... tell me what ya think?
p.s....I'm bored and I want some new TMNT figures to come out...where in the hell is April and Casey?...and why is there so much time in between waves?...There isn't this much time in between MOTU and those figures are much harder to find...lol..atleast the secondary characters....how about a toy fare exclusive TMNT figure of an original character from the old cartoon that won't ever be in the new one...that would be quite awesome!!

Great Idea!
You should write to Playmates and/or Mirage.

Indeed! That being the case I would make all the TMNT the same color green like in teh original comics. Then it would be rather difficult to tell them apart. Good times!

I'd love variants for the new line. Red masks are definitly the way to go. I'd also like to see all 4 Turtles in one boxed set. A diorama set would be best. I'd also like to see more articulation; ball jointed knees and elbows, bendy fingers, interchangable heads with different facial expressions would also be nice.

I dunno if that would be such a good idea. I mean, it's hard to juggle so many things (video games, Ninja Turtle toys/cards, Transformers, Star Wars) with only $15 a month allowance. Not to mention I haven't seen any toys except for the roleplay stuff, the vehicles, the giant Turtles, and Mikey.

I got all of them with in 2 days. I knew, when i got to target the first time and saw they only had one splinter, 2 shredders, 1 foot, 2 donnie, 2 mike,y 3 leo, and 4 raph left that i had to move fast and stealy like ninja...
but yeah, the variant idea sounds cool. Or maybe release a resculpt of Splinter? this ones nice... but he just dosent look right. Or a foot soldier with better feet or even a stand :dead:

You know, for the longest time I wasn't gonna get the regular figures. I was only getting the 12 inch turtles. Anyway, on pay day In walked in Target and saw a brand new shippment in stock with a price cut so I had to get them. You should have seen me walking up to the register with a huge pile of figures in my hands. The lady gave me a dirty look though. She was shaking her head while ringing them up. Then when I paid she said "Aren't you a little old to be playing with toys?" I just smiled and walked out. Anyway, the paint thing would be pretty cool. I am a horror movie fan so I have another idea. Why not turn Leonardo into Jason from Friday the 13th. All you have to do is take away one sword and make a mini hocky mask for his face. Hey, it was done with the Homer figure.

i dont realy like the friday the 13th idea...i dont want turtle figures to go to trash like they did in the old series...who had awful stuff like the universal monster turtle which was awful even though i want them still. im trying to collect all the old turtles

I respect that you don't like it. Anyone who knows me know that I am a HUGE horror fan and that was just an idea. I wouldn't do it personally. I was just saying that the LEO figure has the potential. I like my Turtles just the way they are. I keep my Turtles collection away from my horror collection.

How about we stay away from varients as it is. It was a nightmare with Transformers. Billions of repaints, and stupid clear varients... the collector was always broke. They should just release new molds. Now that only way I'd collect the new line is if the toys had better articulation, like the classic Spider-Man one from back in the day. All those accessories also look mighty easy to lose.

New molds, there's an idea. I'd buy a bunch of TMNT figs based on Cook's designs. Or Tom Kyzats (sp).
