Did you have to completely sculpt this, or did you find a good base?

Pestilence looks nice so far--I think the texture work you have is a good approach to translating his unique Kirby-dot-esque appearance in the comics into three dimensions. It will be interesting to see how it looks painted.

The base is a Mcfarlene Total Chaos Quartz figure all sanded down and sculpted over.
I still have his left arm and lowe half to work on so it's going to be a bit before the paint will be done.

I wanted to keep it but in the process the plastic got a bit melted and I had to sacrifice the cool action feature to make this guy happen.

Not sure what star crunch is but this figure took about a month or so with sculpting, texture, and paints (toss in having to work a full time job also)

Well if it has your stamp of approval I must have done a good job. :)
I made the feet that way by using hot glue and then sculpting over top of it.
I hope to do them at some point as well but I like to space these large guys out.
Expect to see Gnatrat or someone like that next.
