Yeah, he's been at it for a while now! You should check out his personal blog (not GoGreenMachine.org) to see some of his work! He did a very cool and toon-accurate Catwoman April custom.

Base color isn't ALL that important for these, since I repaint them regardless. It's difficult to tell in the picture, but Raph has been repainted from the neck down. Notice the lack of black muscle accent lines.

Why is it that so many people who grew out of Power Rangers after about a year or two still love the Green Ranger so much? I can say that because I'm one of them. The saddest episode of the series was when the Green Ranger finally lost his powers and we knew we'd never get to see that awesome Mecha-Godzilla-esque Dragonzord again. The White Ranger and his Tiger zord just weren't quite the same. :cry:

i remember thinking of this way back in the day when the turtles fought the power rangers in the two part episode during the next mutations times, however if i remember correctly it actually took place on the power rangers show, awesome concept and greatly executed

I take it you've seen the movie Junior Defenders (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1099971/) then? I bought it only because it had Jason David Frank (and Brain O'Halloran of Clerks) in an obvious parody of the Power Rangers. His character's name? Tommy.

I feel that an April the Yellow Ranger would also work well. That five-parter about how Tommy was about to turn evil was definitely one the best arcs in the whole show. How about Foot Soldier Putties, even?

No. I tried to keep artistic license to a minimum. My goal was to literally make Raphael as if he were the green ranger. So I tried to make his costume as authentic as I could given my level of expertise and materials.
