Wow, this is one of the few times I haven't been impressed by a Jin Saotome custom. ;)
I'd thought about using the Sigma 6 armor, too, but ultimately decided against it because Super Shredders were so much cheaper and the shoulder armor worked as a removable accessory.
Also, wtf? He sold it for $165 on eBay? Damn, I'd sell my Shredder for that price. (Or make another for that purpose...)

The Sigma 6 armor works perfectly, I think. Although I don't know why he made the hand blades so much longer. It seems unnecessary. I'm actually going to start some work on my own Shredder in the next couple days using one of the newer Elite WWE figures. Good sculpts, good articulation and plenty to go around...

Well, he didn't -- the Sigma 6 figures are 8" tall, and those are the hand blades (as well as the other armor pieces) that came with the Storm Shadow he took them from. Unless one cuts them down, they'll be hella long on a 6" figure. That said, Cyber Shredder's blades are much longer than they are in most other representations.
(Also, you're new and didn't quite get my sarcasm! Not that people can't have similar ideas based on the same representation of a character, but the Sigma 6 armor is one of the few things that differentiates this Shredder from one I made almost a year ago -- and I briefly considered using the Sigma 6 blades on that one. Might even have discussed that possibility in the forums.)

I look forward to seeing it! I hate the hips on those WWE figs for customizing -- disassembling them is a bear -- but otherwise they're pretty good bases. And if you're lazy, it wouldn't take much at all to make an updated version of the shirtless 1987 fig from one of those. ;)

Oh no, I got it. I even pointed out that it looked very familiar when I posted the link to the auction for this in the eBay thread.
I was looking at my Sigma 6 stuff last night and depending on which Storm Shadow he took it from, he has two different sets of blades, including one with much longer blades. The Shouri Crossbow SS has the forearm gauntlets just like the ones used with matching hand ones as well as crazy long forearm and hand ones. I think he mixed and matched. I think the short ones would look just as good, if not better.

I did some research on disassembling them last night and you're right: it is a bear. Having to split the two torso halves just to swap the legs SUCKS. I haven't opened the nes I purchased yet, so I don't know what the articulation is like in action but only one of them us going to use those legs. The other is getting Savage Dragon legs.
Both are getting soft goods though! It's my first time attempting that, but I'm pretty stoked on the idea. We'll see how it turns out.
And I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that your Shredder was the impetus of all this larger scale customizing I've been doing. I figured my NECA dudes needed some friends and enemies!

It's ok def. not as nice as Wes's, and I feel you Wes.
While everyone is free to do as they please I hate when people are obviously trying to ripp off my custom work as well.
Just gotta keep movin' on and make even better cooler ones :)

Yeah, I can't stand Jin, but that's one of the best TMNT customs I've ever seen.

See, I wasn't impressed with his Shredder custom. I thought he could have done a lot better being that he normally has high standards. That Chrome Dome is great though.

Chrome Dome's head and chestplate came from the original TMNT Playmates figure! Those sculpts were excellent for the era as evidenced by being able to use the head without any actual sculpting modification, all I did was added a ball joint to the neck. His body came from a ML House of M Iron Man, lower arms from a Mark VI Iron Man, hands from the Mark V, and feet from Deathlok. All the other details on him came from various fodder parts and his limb extensions came from a Hordak staff handle.
