Inking Question

[Master Splinter]

I am by no means as great of an artist as most on this board, however I am trying to get better, one of the problems I notice that I have a lot is when I got back over my pencils with ink (fine point sharpie, pen, or whatever) I notice that my lines look shaky... Maybe it's me, or maybe its the pen, whatever it is has anyone else had this problem and how did you overcome it? Looking for any tips for inking that might help improve my art.
