I don't think it was specifically stated anywhere in the show, so let's put it to a vote.

I'd say 14... just feels right. Plus they guys were kinda like big brother's to him and by my nerdy timeline calculations, they should be about 17 at this point.

Somehow, I got the impression that he was 14 also.

How'd you arrive at this conclusion? O_o

Just based upon the fact that they're fifteen in "Things Change" and there's been two winter seasons in the show.

I know that they claimed to be 15 at the beginning of the show, and I'm fairly certain that they gave us the math to determine that they were in 2006 at the beginning of >>, but I thought I remembered somewhere in the first season that they mentioned the year being 2003.

... I could be wrong though. :ohwell:

They could very well be 18, too. There's no winter depicted in season's 4 or 5, and there could have been one in between season 5 and the begining of "Future Shell Shock". Which would make them 19 in BttS and Forever, still allowing the show to have "Teenage" in the title.

I think the the TMNT cartoons observe "Simpsons Time." So even if 7/10/20 or how ever many years go by, 15 years old is 15 years old.

I was actually going to start a thread about the turtle ages/time-span of the 2k3 show but since this is already being discussed here makes it irrelevant even if the title says something different.

As far as the turtles ages I don't believe they mention it takes place in 2003 in the show but its clear the show is in the 'present time' of when it started so 2002/2003 (show aired in early 2003 so "present time" when the show was being made was 2002. Of course its not that hard to move the dates around too much for continuity sake. Anyways in Fast Forward they mention that they got sent 100 years in the future and that the current date is 2105. So that would mean its 2005 in the "present" however maybe they only went 99/98 years in the future and not necessarily the nice round number 100 and they just mention it since it was easier for them to say its 100 years in the future instead of 99, I only mention that if its necessary to change the timeline its a logical explanation. In BTTS they don't mention its 2007 however they do mention that the turtles were gone for 1 year, so I guess it'd be technically 2006.

The thing is most of the adventures seem to be happening mostly continuous so I guess you can indeed fit S1-4 happening in two years, its S4 that actually tells you how much time has passed because of the infestation.

As far as Cody I always saw him also around 14/15, he's still a kid but is much more mature so he can't be younger than that but not enough as say a High School kid would be.

Nah, time does happen in the 2k3 show, you only have to use "Simpsons Time"/sliding timeline on other shows but this isn't a problem here, in fact by the end of the show they're still Teenagers so that part of the title still makes sense.

But then how could the turtles be 15 years old in 2003 when the show started and 15 years old in 2006 when Fast Forward started?

All I know is that Angel is about a year or two older in BttS, at the very least (this may seem like too small a number given the drastic change of appearance, but she was at an age where one year makes a BIG difference).

Ummm.... because they're not 15 when Fast Forward starts lol.

They were according to Leonardo in the first episode of Fast Forward.

It's easy to make that mistake since pretty much the first spoken line is Leo saying something about "15 years of training". I'm sure they weren't training the day after they were hatched, and likely not even until after they got back home from 'burying' Yoshi in Japan.

Correct gobo. An 18 year old ninja hasn't necessarily been a ninja for 18 years.

Here's a timeline (feel free to expand upon it): http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=34184

Starlee seemed the same age as Cody and she looked no more than 14-15.

Of course being an alien she could be like 100 years old and give the appearance of a teenager, but whatever.

I thought it was said in the episode of Cody's birthday that he turned 14.

Ah, yeah. "Turtle X-tinction".

I'll have to watch that soon and confirm the age.

I always thought he was 14 and turned 15 on that birthday but I don't think it was ever officially stated.

His redesign in BTTS made him look about 16. See him in the first ep of Season 7 and his cameo during April/Casey's wedding in the finale, he looked much older.
