Playmates really dropped the ball here. :p On the front it says, "COLLECT ALL FIVE DISCS!" but I only have the first four episodes. What the heck happened here, or does somebody have the fifth disc and I somehow got gypped? I collected all of the toys that got released (only unreleased one shown on the cardback being Casey).
Not that it really matters since I own the DVD set of the first season, but I was considering giving away the discs to a friend, and things are kinda naked without that last episode.
Are you referring to the Season 7 slices? O_o

I mean the re-release run Playmates did of the original Turtles toys, which included like the first wave plus some additionals. The four Turtles each came with a DVD, and I would have assumed Splinter would have contained disc five, but...nope.

Shredder was suppose to have the 5th disc, I'm not sure why it wasn't included.

What's on 'em?
Each disc has an episode from the first season.

They should've re-released Baxter Stockman instead of Slash. But I guess that kinda fits in with another conversation: http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=33744

I believe each DVD has a different episode from season 1. If you collect all 5, you get the entire season.
And wow, Playmates never released the 5th disc? It kinda makes me glad that I didn't end up trying to collect those, like I originally wanted to, as my OCD would have bugged the crap outta me if I had.

Sliding this under the radar since it's somewhat relevant, but is the TMNT Volume 1 disc the first season of the OT? I picked up Volumes 1 and 3 a couple months back at FYE pretty cheap, but the other night I got Season 7 at Wal-Mart. ??

Volume 1 is Season 1. Volume 2 is Season 2.
Season 3 on the other hand is Volume 4-6. After that they started with boxsets.

Wow, really? Was Season 3 that large?

I wish they'd just put out a boxset of all the seasons, in order, for the OT series. Should surprise everyone and do that for the OT series' 25th anniversary.

Season 3 had somewhere around 30 episodes I believe. Season 4 was 40 episodes.

Lol, every single season had animation errors. This happened throughout the shows entire run.

I think if you look you can find at least one mistake in each episode.

I understand, by season 3 and 4 I think it was on every day...and since episodes were being churned out so fast, that more mistakes had to creep in. I'm not sure...but then again the first season (5 episodes) has tons...some I've missed until I saw some of ToneMaster's photos.

I know for me, I was watching it after school in the evenings and would get upset if I missed it. I remember one time, when I was about 8, I wasn't feeling well, but I managed to watch my TMNT anyway. lol My grandmother used to babysit my younger cousins, and I'd go with her. While my cousins played, I would watch TMNT. One time, I was feeling miserable, but still went anyway and tried to watch the ep. Can't remember the ep, but it still had that first syndicated ending. Is it pathetic that I recall this? ^^ I don't remember the ep because I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was going off, and I was sad. Anywho, my grandmother took me home. I had a fever and everything so mom put me straight to bed.
So anywho, seems that's when I saw the show the most, 1990/1991.

Slash was the toughest one for me to get. The very first ones released I picked up as a set from BigBadToyStore.com, but the ones released after that were harder to come by. The Foot Soldier I was thankfully able to find at a toy store, while Shredder and Slash I ended up ordering from Amazon Marketplace for a pretty penny. I think Slash was more expensive... But, it's a fun toy to have. Brings me back to being a kid and playing with the toy a lot. Cool just to have it again and put on display, since it really is a nifty-looking toy, pink weapons and all. :D
I couldn't get Shredder to stand on his feet, so I put him in a...rather saucy pose.
