Rogue... the anna paquin rogue

kyabetsu
04-19-2003, 04:43 AM
what up with that?!

Rogue ain't an option!!
an' i'm sorry GK, but the old school Rogue kicked Anna Paquinn's little girly butt. Old school Rogue ABSORBED SUPER-WOMAN-CHICA's ENTIRE PSYCHE AND KILLED HER. Super-Woman-Chica is STILL BANGING AROUND IN ROGUE'S BRAIN!!!

----story:
you see MYSTIQUE was Rogue's Foster Mother. And, being ~EVIL~, Mystique made a young rogue drain Super-Woman-Chica's powers. So Young Rogue'd have SUPER-STRENGTH and be able to FLY. but neither young Rogue or Mommy Mystique knew what would happen if you just KEPT draining some one for too long...

SUPER-WOMAN-CHICA DIED, BUT ROGUE NOW HAS HER IN HER BRAIN AND HAS HER POWERS PERMANENTLY!!

Well, having an angry dead woman in her brain drove Rogue nearly insane and with her new powers Mystique couldn't control her anymore, so she ran, ran, ran away. (or flew prolly.)

but thats were PROFESSOR X jumps in. (or rolls prolly). He built a MIND SHIELD around Super-Woman-Chica in Rogue's brain and un-crazied Rogue. She HANGS with Prof. X cause she still needs him to re-inforce her mental shields. (and cause she's a goodie at heart and believes in his cause and gets free rent.)
----

oh... she also rules cause Rogue is just cooler as an older character who's been around and seen pain and dealt with it all her life..

and Old School Rogue has better hair than Anna.

ps.
this thread disappeared before i could properly and some of my thoughts:

#1 i'm eating a brownie RIGHT NOW.

#2 that "women over 150 pounds cannot wear daisy dukes and belly shirts" is ignorant. If she's over 5'6" it STILL looks darn good.

#3 additionally, there are guys over 150 and under 5'6" who i'd NEVER wanna see in daisy dukes or belly shirts.

#4 therefore, "No one exceeding 150 pounds and under 5'6" of hieght may wear Daisy Dukes or Belly Shirts. Exceptions can be made with a note from a licensed physician." should be the new federal law.

#5 1 and 0 are all you need for numbers.

#6 i really hope you caught the irony of a numbered list and the previous statement.

#7 EVERYBODY IN THE JACUZZI!! ~*SPLOOSH*~

Hi Kya! Pass me a brownie?

As for favorite xman, so this is at least partially on topic, I liked some of the other old schoolers... Kitty Pryde, when she was the genius, youngest xman, ninja in training. (Kitty Pryde and Wolverine miniseries)

But since she ain't on your poll, I gotta go with the fuzzy elf.

No offense, but this poll kinda sucks. I mean, there's been like 30+ X-Men, and you only list 8. That's a huge limit on options.

I mean, where's Iceman? Or Colossus? Shadowcat? Psylocke? Heck, I'm not even going to get into more obscure ones like Chamber, or Sunfire.

Sorry if I seem pissy, I just wanted a chance to vote for my faves. And they ain't there. :(

A poll on here will only hold a certain number. You couldn't have like 30 options.

My favourite X-men was Buttplugg.....he was cool 'cause X-MEN SUCK!!!! But I will choose Wolverine 'cause he'd probably do every girl on earth and not even know why he felt the need to do so. And he'd probably kill off everyone that liked the X-Men too 'cause he is just that hardcore. But he cant kill Buttplugg for he has an anti-Wolverine gauntlet on that would allow him to steal all of the shladies from Wolvie.

Yeah, she got impaled by some guy named Vargas in an early issue of X-Treme X-Men. As for her returning...

Current policy at Marvel is "Dead is Dead." If someone dies, they ain't comin' back. Ever. And Marvel been sticking to it hard, for over a year. Hence why Magneto, Psylocke and Colossus are still gone.

'Course, things could change, but it'll be awhile, I wager.

Not really a X-man, but my Fav Mutant is

PORTAL
yep the mutant that hung around with Darkhawk, Portal was a bad ass among mutants, yeah most had better powers, more skill, more sence, but non had all his accesories.
Power- Makes teleportation portals, no limit on range (he jumps to other worlds on a regular basis)
Toys- Darkhwak battle armor he took after killing one of the bots. Gun as big as his arm, alien energy Black Jack, Slime gun that solidifies quickly, Vibro pod (desintagrates stuff), Energy shooting cheese wedge thing.
And the dude got in I don't know how mant fights with aliens that wanted to kill him.

Not the best powers but the guy knew how to hide his weakness

Oh, and I'm a Mutant Leauge fan, well of the show, never played the games

Loolaa

My favourite X-man is proberbly Magik, though she was a New Mutant so she mightn't be included. The whole limbo demon thing was cool.
If not Magik then definatly Nightcrawler.

Ugh.. I haven't been able to really settle on ONE favorite yet. I'm more amusied by they way they all react to certain situations.

But I voted for Wolverine. He's cool, in more ways than one. :D I also liked Rogue, Gambit, Beast, and Nightcrawler. Jubilee... ugh, she plain got on my nerves.

far and away the coolest is...
NIGHTCRAWLER
- very dark but also loving personality
- BAMF = bad arse mother fudger
- He's a German dude - how cool is that
- very stalwart in his Christian faith
- he looks like Alice Cooper! :goof:

I've never played the games either, but I used to *LOVE* the cartoon. Sadly, though, I can't find a single episode of the show. :( Know where I might some?

And, to solve a mystery: was there ever a girl on the Midway Monsters? :-?

I think she was a second season chacter, all I can rember was ber hiar raised when she was mad and she was Malones daugter

Kameko

Back to the topic....

Wolverine kicks a-- er... 'arse'. Heh. Hugh Jackman plays the part in the movie so well! (And he's hot too, which doesn't hurt. :P )

On the other hand, I love accents, and there's just something about Gambit.... Dang, I wish they'd put him in the movie. I mean, aside from a tiny clip -- or was that just in the book? Maybe they'll make a third movie and bring him in officially.

Nightcrawler is pretty freakin' cool in his own right. I mean, how many mutants -- especially ones as CLEARLY mutant as he is -- can have such a strong hold on thier faith? ...Plus he just looks seriously cool.

And Jubilee: Heh, I think, originally, I loosely modeled Kameko after her. Course, Kameko's come a LONG way since then, but still... And Jubilee's about the only person who can really get close to Logan (Jean doesn't count -- she's married!), which is pretty cool, too.

I don't think I CAN choose a favorite.

BTW, the book adaption of the sequel is AWESOME if you haven't read it. I couldn't put it down. I haven't read the first, but I'm sure it's just as good. The books are always better than the movies.

(( :teek: Whoa, deja vu. Have I said this before? :-? ))

He was a one shot in the first season, he was the coach, he came back in the second as a full time coach, but the only way to get him was to let his daughter play, she was the first female in the pros. I think she had a thing for Razor or Bones (since I think the human girl was phased out)
