Wooooo! First post on here. I am starting to get back into the turtles. I heard about the movie coming out and wanted to check it out a few months ago. Look's great so far.
I saw the TMNT dvd at K-mart a few months ago. I didn't have nay cash on me at the time. I came back to get it and it was gone. Do other stores still carry it? like best buy or something or am I going to have to order it online which I don't mind doing.

Hello and welcome to the Technodrome!
*offers a mango of welcome*
I've searched a lot of stores for the DVD, and the only place I found it was at an outlet store. It cost 14.95. Of course, I didn't buy it, since I'm sure I could get it cheaper online. I'm still searching for better prices, but you can definitely get the DVD through the internet. That'll probably be your best bet. Again, welcome, and enjoy your stay

Hiyah!
Yeah.. I saw the TMNT DVD at Kmart here for just $9.95 too. Other places you can also look for it cheap (if you have them) are Walmart, Miejer, and Target (even Sam's Club). Other places that could have them for more money are Best Buy, Curcuit City, Block Buster, Hollywood Video and other area stores that specialize in music/video.
Trust me.. my husband is an expert on finding DVD bargains since we literally have a wall of them!

I got mine from Walmart last summer for $9.99... just as the DVD wave was hitting it's highest and sales started to drop a bit.
The DVD's great, both in LBX and Pan-n-Scan. No real special features other than a game and the trailer.
HOWEVER... the disk will NOT play right on my Samsung DVD player. It keeps skipping around every 10 seconds. But it works fine on my G4 PowerMac's DVD player.
Anyone else have that problem?

Hrm... no, I hadn't had problems with our Samsung DVD player and the TMNT dvd. Maybe the one you got is slightly defective. *shrug*

I heard that the DVD was supposed to have a bunch of extra footage, like stuff from the farmhouse among other things...

The old TMNT DVD, or the new one Laird was trying to put out some time in the future? The old DVD release doesn't have anything new in the actual movie that wasn't there before.

game and trailer only?that's all the extras?
I sure wish the director cut's version gets released...so that they can put up more extras =|
Maybe a video about how the turtle costumes were made too ~.~

I'd love to own a special edition DVD of the TMNT movie, complete with deleted scenes all of that other good stuff. I'd also like to see a DVD release of TMNT 2 & 3.

The Evil corporation known as Wal-mart has Ninja Turtle Movies fairly often. The DVD of the first movie sells for $9.94, videos of theother two movies for $4.88, and I saw Next Mutation East Meets West for something like $5.77.
