Hey guys,
I posted this in another section, but I think it deserves its own thread here. I started my search for TMNT movie props on these forums, and a little over a year later, I'd like to share my finds with all of you. These props come from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.
The first attached photo is a Foot Soldier mask and bandana worn by stuntman and video game icon Daniel Pesina (the actor who portrayed Johnny Cage, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero in the first two Mortal Kombat games).
The second photo shows a background ooze canister with mutagen ooze (the TGRI lettering has fallen off from heavy use).
The third, a production-used Ninja Rap Is Born newspaper, has to be my ultimate holy grail. Splinter held this paper in his hands for the still photographer to take production stills.
And, finally, the last photo shows a close-up of a Foot Soldier arm guard also worn by Daniel Pesina.
I can only attach four photos, but I have several other items, including more pieces of the Foot Soldier costume, screen-used Turtle pads, and much more information on my site: NinjaRap.com (http://ninjarap.com/). Check it out for photos, behind-the-scene stories, and some Vanilla Ice fun!
Thanks for looking!
Turtle Power,
Mike

dude it is awesome that you have those movie props. I was always a fan of the foot ninja costumes in the movies. Does the ooze canister really have liquid inside?

Does the ooze canister really have liquid inside?
Unfortunately, no. The inside is painted a bright green to make it look like the canister contains ooze. It's one of those Hollywood illusions.
From my understanding, only one of the canisters ever had liquid in it during filming. The rest, like mine, were painted.

Those are nice items, considering I have seen a reproduction of the TGRI canister ask for as much as $200. Here's another item that you might want to add to your collection that I've found on eBay: the Script to SOTO!

I did not see Karen Steward on any credits, but the seller says that a certificate of authenticity comes with the item and claims that it isn't a repro. Sure, a pretty steep asking price, but bargainable.

It takes a lot of time and commitment (and some luck), but it's a matter of tracking down crew members, actors, and fellow fans and expressing how much you love TMNT. I've met great people and heard wonderful stories along the way.

That is really cool! Karen Steward is the artist who drew the April sketches in the first movie. If I didn't already have a TMNT II production script, I might have made an offer on that. (See the bottom of http://www.ninjarap.com/ for a photo.)

This isn't a movie prop, but rather Michaelangelo's rhinestone-encrusted bandana eye star as seen in The Making of The Coming Out of Their Shells Tour direct-to-video mockumentary. It would have been glued onto Mikey's bandana (some glue residue still remains). The bandana eye star can be seen when the Turtles perform outdoors on top of the marquee at Radio City Music Hall.
After Jim Henson’s Creature Shop decided not to make the Coming Out of Their Shells Tour costumes, the suits were quickly put together by another studio in 5 weeks' time. Later touring costumes ditched the eye star and used running shoes and spandex pads to help the actors move around during the two-hour-long live show. (The original costumes also had bulky shells, but were later replaced with light jean vests after rehearsals.)
This was picked up at the HMS Creative Productions Prop House Garage Sale held in North Hollywood, California. HMS designed the time travel staff from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III.
