Krang's Android Body - FINISHED!

I've been asked to make a custom figure of Krang & his android body, based on the model sheets of the original cartoon. I'll post a proper write-up in a bit (hard to type right now as I've just drilled clean through my finger), but here's a few pics...

909TurtleFan - the base figure's a Jakks TNA Samoa Joe figure, with Hasbro Juggernaut feet.

Powder - I was drilling into the hips and went through, my finger was underneath and I drilled pretty much clean through the tip. Looked a lot worse than it is....

I like what I see so far, but did you plan eny articulation in his elbows? First picture suggests that you plant to articulate them only in shoulders and wrists. But Krang looks superb, and waist-down it's really good, can't wait to see it finished!

His elbows aren't articulated. I've lost the elbows, neck, torso, waist, thigh and ankle rockers. I may swap the arms out for slightly longer ones, but those too would have the elbows sculpted over - it's aesthetics over articulation on this one, a strange concept for me.

Tech detailing on arms & legs. I'll get more photos up later, but I've also extended the arms by an inch or so and completed the basic structure of the torso cavity. Hoping to have the sculpt finished this weekend...

Android's 95% sculpted, just have to add a few details. Just got to sculpt the head, add the straps & shoulder pads and paint, and I'm done!

Powder - not really any set scale - I think he'll work with the original turtles, the 2K3 ones and the NECA ones. He'll stand just under 9" tall when he's done.

Funny you should say that... I could never find the Krang figure when I was a kid, so I substituted one made of bubblegum! It was gum that game in spaghetti-like strands, so I mashed a load together, covered it in white glue to seal it, then painted a mouth & eyes on it...

Unfortunately, Krang has absolutely no genitals whatsoever. You cannot imagine how annoyed he is.

Sigh... Looks like the guy who commissioned Krang has flaked out on me - been waiting for payment for 3 weeks now, and communication has totally ceased.

What do you guys think? Is it worth putting him on ebay? There's no way I'd get the price I'd agreed with my customer (hell, I doubt I'd even recoup my costs), but there's also no parts on Krang I could recycle for other customs, and I don't just want to junk him. I've never had much luck selling TMNT customs on ebay...

Any opinions/advice would be gratefully recieved...

That's the guy who commissioned it. Thanks for bringing that to my attention - I have no problems with people reselling my customs, but I would have liked some acknowledgement that it was my work - from the auction description it's implied that the seller created the custom...

Yeah, the guy who originally commissioned the figure is reselling it on ebay (see above link). I've emailed him to ask if he can edit his listing to give me credit for the custom, so I just have to wait and see.
