Why didn't Sleezebug (season 9) ever return?

Sleezebug was one of the alien henchmen of Dregg. In that one episode he is mutated into a greater creature, but the character never appears again, in either the rest of Season 9 or 10 for that matter.

They did a good job explaining what happened to all of Dregg's other minions:

- Medusa is transported to the other side of the galaxy
- Chronos is arrested
- Jet Mcabe stays on the alien asteroid
- Doomquest is sucked up by the portal
- The Mobster from Season 10 is sucked up
- Hi-Tech is shot out into space in Season 10

Sleezebug is the only one who just never showed up again.

But the other bad guys didn't work for Shredder/Krang, they were always solo. So if we didn't see them anymore it didn't matter, they weren't Shredder's minions or anything.

Sleezebug worked specifically for Dregg but never returned in Season 10.

He wanted "regular" status in Season 10 and a higher pay check, but Fred Wolf just laughed in his face and told him he was a "Mojo Wannabe." At least... that's the way Sleazebug tells the story on his now-defunct blog.

I kinda feel bad for the guy. He kept applying for bit-part villains in other TV shows, but always lost out on the parts to Cam Clarke.:tgrumble:

I'm guessing Sleezebug went back to his old job where he came from after the genetics lab blew up. He mentioned that he gets credit for sending people to fight in the tournament on the asteroid. He told that to Dregg so he works for someone else. As much as he worked for Dregg in The Showdown, Dregg was doing Sleezebug a favor by helping him send the turtles to the asteroid.
