is anybody else glad that the rumor of this show being about the turtles going to high school was just that a rumor i keeping an open mind about april being a teen but that idea as just too stupid to make me watch the new series espeically the idea of shredder being the evil princpal.

Being a dick aside, I certainly don't want the turtles in school. I never even saw that rumor though.

Your first mistake was believing something on the toonzone message boards. Seriously, if it isn't posted here on the Technodrome, or elsewhere by a reputable member of this board, or an official statement/press release, it's 99% likely to be crap.

I too recall these rumors, I remember multiple mentions of people talking about a show like this, There was actaully multiple post about it.
It might help if u use the search bar turtlefan1 jst to prove were not crazy :lol:

Yes. I don't want them in high school in the show. Now if Nick somehow comes up with or somehow have the same idea of my "High School Dream" story, I wouldn't mind that. Yet, if they do work on this idea, I'd sure love to pitch in so it's done right.:tsmile:

I never heard it was a fact that the Turtles were going to high school. That was just fans saying they hoped it WOULDN'T turn out that way, not that it was a sure thing.

See. Gotham High actually sounds interesting and has a weird enough concept that with the right writers it could've been fun.

The entire city was aware of the Turtles existence by the end of Season 1.
The turtles still wore disguises as they were never accepted by the general public.
Think of all the zany adventures the ninja turtles would have in high school. I dig this idea, all it needs is some musicals and every preteen across the lands will like it. *v* Beautiful ninja turtle musicals with zany ninja butt kicking.

If they went to a school with humans, the staff wouldn't even think a second about mutants, unless if April or someone else proves that the turtles are heroes. Just watch Donatello's Degree from the OT which shows how Don had to fake his way as "Donna Tello" for instance.

I did remember having the coloring book of the Turtles going to school wearing their trench coats. The villains were a gang of bullies that "sell homework".
The Turtles ought to remain hidden in the shadows as they are mutated creatures. They can learn of the outside world through TV and the internet. Since Splinter will be Hamato Yoshi again, he can also warn them of the dangers and how treacherous some people can be.

The worst would be if it isn't thought to be so, but then those who create the 2012 work on ideas for a season 2, read this forum and think "-Oh, nice idea with the Turtles at school".
I tell everyone who support this to watch "Splinter No More", reflect about the episode topics (especially when the crowd runs from Splinter). That's what TMNT is.

But back on topic, as long as the Turtles don't have high school drama, I'll be okay with them maybe infiltrating a school. I think if they'd have to go undercover to find information, that would be awesome.
