So i rang up afew comic shops in my local area i live in the UK They said they are not allowed to stock or sell any tmnt because of licencing issues
I was incredibly disheartened by this as i want to read the new comics! Why do they have to be so awkward i think he also said thats the same issue with the current idw doctor who issues also..
Does anyone know where else i could buy these which will ship to the UK?
sidenote im liking cover e of variant #2 :P

I notice reedcomics.com have #2
Otherwise: eBay. There are even a few UK-based sellers (though auctions rather than BIN).
I'm just going to sit it out and hope Turtles get added to the IDW app. Failing that I'll wait for the trade.

Or you could go through Grahamcrackers.com, mycomicshop.com, Milehighcomics.com, midtowncomics.com and a plethora of other US based online retailers that offer both international shipping AND subscription services.
I believe Titan owns the rights to the Turtles in the UK (because I wrote for them a couple of years ago and couldn't get any of them to Australia).

I noticed this in Paris as well. I hit about 6 shops, and none of them stocked tmnt, despite carrying other IDW books.

Yeah, I noticed this as well and emailed IDW about it who said they don't have the licensing to sell TMNT over here in the UK. I checked ebay but the single issue is priced at around £10, and this is not only an expensive but unreliable way of collecting the series. I was going to wait for the trades, but seeings how the series has only just started this is going to be ages away yet. Majorly distraught with this!?

I got mine through Reed Comics - they haven't let me down yet and have been very helpful, so I can recommend going with them. But I don't like having to rely on a single supplier, so would prefer to have a backup option in place as well, though I've yet to find any other UK online stores selling them. Should be getting some variants from a UK based eBay seller but the price is vastly inflated, so I won't be doing that too often!

There's a movie/cult/comics collector thing on at Earls Court in London this weekend and I intend to ask any dealers there if they are stocking it. If I find any I will post here.
