Who'd wanna see Null in the Nick series?

I was flipping through Archie books for a shot of Chris Allan's Splinter next to a Turtle, so i could ask a friend who saw the preview if that height difference was what we were getting with the new series. As I was flipping I realized just how many arc featured Null as a villain. I then further though, Null would be awesome in the new Nick series. So who else would wanna see Null as an adversary in the new series? Heck, maybe he'd be voiced by Clancy Brown

That would be a great addition to the new show. I'd love to see more villains then just Shredder, Stockmen, and the Kraang. It would be nice to see a change up.

I'd like to see them involve some of the Playmates figures like Muckman or Pizzaface, as well as Archie characters. Now THAT would be awesome.

Archie exclusive, as far as I remember.

You had to think about it? The vast majority of the characters introduced in Archie never appeared in the cartoon.

The only ones that appeared in both were the characters who originated as Playmates toys, like Tattoo, Scumbug, Wingnut/Screwloose, etc.

Awesome characters like Armaggon, Null, Malinga, Verminator X, and so forth were all created for that particular series.

Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War should also make an appearance with Null to form a team as well that can outnumber the turtles and be a real threat to them!

I'd love it, but he looks like Satan and might not go over well with censors. He'd make a nice BG villain to build up to. The new series should just be Archie animated.

I'll be the buzzkill here, but I'm gonna vote "No" on Null for future TMNT media. DrSpengler has convinced me that making an anti-green, businessman into the devil incarnate is about about the biggest 90s cliche of them all.

I for one demand that future TMNT alpha-villains ought to have depth, personality, and a semi-creative origin! :twink:

However, Maligna showing up in future TMNT adventures would please me just fine. I really want to see Scul and Bean again!

Oh, but he could just be the cliched "evil business man" mold like Lex Luthor. :D To (better) counter, there really is not bad character, just badly written characters. If Null were written as more than a one note "eco-villain," he might work....maybe.

Hmm... so maybe Null could be reimagined as a benevolent, charity-minded, eco-friendly advocate... who still turns out to be the devil incarnate anyway? I guess anything's possible!

I like it...he acts the part of a benevolent eco-conscience business man, but is in fact not. Yes...yes...I can see it now. ;)

Null would be cool, but if they could only take one villian from the Archie series, I'm holding out for Armmagon.

I'd like him to be there, they could have him be a Lex Luthor type of character.

IDK much about him, I jst looked him up a second ago and he seems interesting, but a little bland he needs some strong story behind his character in order to fully flesh out his character.

Just for myself, no. I didn't like him all that much whenever he showed up in the comic. Reminds me WAY to much of Agent Bishop in some ways, and even more of some people that I've known in real life.

So...no. I hope he DOESN'T show up in the new series.

'Course...given that he belongs exclusively to Archie Comics (I think someone around here said), that might be a moot point, anyway.

Is there any definite list of characters/things that Nick didn't get when they bought TMNT? I mean if they got the Archie stuff it would be cool to start pulling some of those characters into animated form. There were a lot of interesting characters that came out of those pages.
